The ASL trio and boa landed on dawn island to say their HI's and byes to the east blue. the villagers were wondering who these tall people were but they went to the party's bar. once they got to the bar they all asked for some sake and when Makino gave it to them Luffy said: "how's life Makino". Makino was confused until she took a good look at the man and screamed "Luffy" and hugged him. Luffy, Ace, and sabo caught up with Makino, villagers and, the dadan bandits before they left.
they said their goodbyes and took off and a little while later they saw a pirate ship attacking a cruise ship so they swiftly made their way to the ships to help the innocent's. Luffy and boa hoped of sabo and swiftly knocked out 10 pirates each until they saw a fat lady with a mace about to hit a small boy with pink hair, Luffy ran and blocked the mace with his hand and broke it, at the corner of his eye he saw an orange hair girl leaving with a big bag of something so he said too boa to stop her and put her on sabo, Luffy asked the big lady "who she is and why was she about to attack the other boy" and she said with a bit a fear "I am iron mace Alvida" and as soon as he heard that he sent her flying with a gum-gum bazooka. Luffy picked up the small boy jumped back on sabos back. when he got on sabo's back he saw the orange hair girl and everyone else, Luffy asked the girl "what is her name and what she was doing on that boat" the lady said "I am Nami and I rob pirates" Luffy also asked "what skills do you have to travel the sea and rob pirates", nami said" I'm the best navigator on the east blue" and that hooked luffy and he was intrigued so he asked," can you be my navigator and I will give you all the money in the world". Nami was surprised at his statement but with her hair covering her eyes she asked " are yall pirates" they all responded with a yes then with a scream nami said, " all pirates are dirty and they don't care about what they do to people". Luffy had no problem with what she said but he asked "what pirate crew messed your life up because I know there are good and bad pirates so tell me your life story" Nami was surprised but she told them about her past with "along with the saw"Luffy laughed and said if you join my crew I will free your island and put it under my protection and no one will ever atack again because I am the strongest man on all the seas. Nami just nodded, Luffy looked at the boy sitting next to him and asked what his name was and why he was on Alvida's ship. the boy said, "I'm Koby and I accidentally step on her boat 2 years when I thought it was a fishing boat" Luffy laughed but asked, "do you have a dream" Koby smiled then frowned and said," I want to be a marine and stop bad pirates" Luffy smiled and said" follow your dreams and I will help you become the best marine so first let me give you a gift" in Luffy's hand a green fruit appeared and he gave it to Koby he was surprised and asked what was and Luffy explained that it was the Kaze Kaze no mi the wind wind fruit and its only weakness was extreme cold and the Mera Mera no Mi. Koby was surprised that Luffy would give him a powerful devil fruit but took it gratefully and ate it. Luffy told sabo were to go the destination was shell town and on the way, he will teach Koby how to control his devil fruit.
when they got to shell town they sensed two powerful auras but they did not pose a threat all of them made their way to a bar where they heard about two people that were taken by marines for saving a girl and he was intrigued so Luffy left everyone and made his way to the marine base. when he got there he saw two people tied up but skinny he knew who they were it was Roronoa Zoro and Yamato the children of kaidou. Luffy was surprised so he went up to them and asked what are the children of kaidou, they were surprised that they are known in the weakest sea but the person in front was something different he gave of the presence of someone greater than their father than the man said "will you join my crew" they can feel that the right choice would be to join him so they can make a name for them selfs under a good captain but they want to test so they asked, "if you can take them both on at the same time they will become his crewmates". Luffy was about to free them but then the marine captain "axe hand morgan came out and asked what he was doing in his base but before he can say anything else Luffy blurred away and appeared in front of morgan. everyone was surprised that he can move that fast, Luffy said" I know you are a corrupt marine and we can't have that" so Luffy just punched morgan in the chest making a hole, everyone was surprised that Luffy was that strong. Luffy untied Yamato and Zoro as soon as they were untied they got in a fighting stance but they felt the pressure that pushed them on the ground and realized that it was Luffy using Haoshoku Haki so they just said that they will join. Yamato got her kanabo and Zoro got his three swords then followed Luffy back to the bar . a few hours later marines walked into the bar and thanked Luffy but said he had to go before they leave Luffy asked the head marine for a den den mushi, once he got the mushi he called his mom to send someone to branch 153rd to get a boy name Koby he wants him to be the next admiral so send someone to train him. then Luffy and his crewmates went to the docks Luffy put his hand out and made a ship it was made out of the best wood he called the ship the sunny "AN it is the same sunny in cannon but 2x bigger but also has sea stones at the bottom" they all got on the ship and Luffy said that the next destination is orange town.
they were on their way to orange town, while everyone on the ship Luffy got to know Yamato but also split away with boa to have some fun. while Luffy and boa were having sex Luffy asked on how she feels about Yamato and asked how she would feel if he got another girlfriend, but boa did not care if he got another because if he is to become the pirate king he should have multiple queens but little did they know there was a little peeper that was happy.
