Chapter 4 | In trouble

"Sir... there's bad news." A servant said to Sapnap.

"What? Make it quick, I don't have all day." Sapnap said. He was still upset from last night. But it seemed the servant knew nothing.

"The Air and Water nations.. they joined together after hearing us and the Earth nation allied.." he said.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Check the premises and notify the people to keep an eye out for suspicious activity." Sapnap exclaimed. He was annoyed, knowing full well when they were trained.. if anything bad happened first, the people would know first hand. 'Why does no one listen to me? Do I need to train everyone again??" Sapnap thought in annoyance.

The servant left, told everyone in under 20 minutes. That was the one good thing about his people.. they were quick. Sapnap told every knight, except his two, to go and be on guard. The Earth nation's kingdom was nearly 100 miles away, so there was no use in contacting them until they found out themselves.

"Rough knight?" Punz asked the king. The king jumped. Did he know?

"What do you mean?" Sapnap asked confused, but was hoping he didn't know about it.

"Sir, you look constipated. Tired, and annoyed.. did you get any sleep last night?"

No.

"I did! Why would you talk to your king like that? How rude."

"I am very sorry for my rudeness, your majesty.. I was only just worried."

Sapnap pouted. Yeah, he was tired.. annoyed.. but he wasn't constipated! To be frank, all Sapnap wanted was this stupid war to be over. He had a plan, but the plan was stupid. Sapnap has a sister, however.. she is the water nation's queen. Her name is Niki, she may seem sweet on the outside, be she is like fire on the inside. She ran away to marry the water nation's king, but Sapnap knew it was just to take over the nation, and no love was involved. The king of the water nation goes by the name of Jack. He knew there was nothing in it for him, but being the only king who is married, everyone has high hopes for him. (Plz dont come after me, i do not ship niki and jack.. if you couldn't tell.. there is no love involved in this marriage.)

Sapnap and one other person only knew about this plan.. the other person? Well his knight, Technoblade of course! Technoblade was actually his real 1st knight, and Punz was his second. If the public knew that, rage would be an output.

"S-Sir! We just got a message.." said a messenger, running in frantic. "The water nation.. they're coming!"

Sapnap's eyes widened. If the water nation was coming, so was the air nation.

"Quickly, whatever it takes, notify the Earth nation. We may be able to trap them." Sapnap said.

"Sir, are you worried?" Punz asked. Sapnap shook his head no.

"No, I am not worried. However, I am only annoyed. They think they are more powerful than us? We'll show them not to mess with us again." Sapnap smirked.

A few seconds later, Dream walked up to Sapnap's throne. The knights were supposed to kneel or stand next to him. He stood. They looked at each other, Dream smiled and Sapnap scoffed.

It was about an hour before everything felt oddly silent. Sapnap stood up from his throne, taking his cape off.

"Sir?" Punz asked.

"Something is not right. I can feel it." Sapnap said. He looked around the room, quickly counted. 2.. 6.. 19.. 22.. 25.. 26. 26 people in the room.. and it's too quiet. He whispered to himself.

He looked up, all around the room, eyes directly on him. There can't be this many people in the room.. there has to be some type of motion.

"Wait." Sapnap said. "Everyone, silence." He didn't even need to say that, but he wanted to make sure everyone was silent.

Everyone was looking at him.. except one person.

"One hour?" Sapnap asked the crowd. "One hour to attack. Wow, what pity. I should feel sad for them, honestly." Sapnap started to mock both air and water nation. "They should be better at this, right?" Sapnap laughed. He tried to calm himself down. "I can't believe it. This is so sad! Well, I guess games can end here." Sapnap stopped.

It was silent for about a minute.

"Okay, okay. I get it! I get it! Come on out, sister." Sapnap said. People looked surprised. How could he tell? "I know what my sister looks like."

Sapnap pointed at the person who wasn't looking at him. It was someone with a hood over their head. Once Sapnap said that, the figure stood up, and removed her hood.

"Bullshit. How'd you know?" Niki asked.

"You scared my people enough to not make a sound. You really think I wouldn't catch on?" Sapnap smirked. He'd know his sister even if she changed.

He didn't break eye contact with her. She had an angry face on. No sooner, the doors bursted open and screams arose. People outside had been attacked, and the guards were trying their hardest. People were drowning in the rain.. at least that's what it felt like.

"We did nothing to harm you, why have you come?!" Sapnap yelled. He soon wondered.. where was the earth nation?

"You did harm us. You chose to ally with a nation. 2 against 1 and 1? You think we wouldn't try something? The air nation came to us with flowers and a note. It felt like I was being confessed too. Haha! I don't think you'd ever experience that. No one would ever.. ever.. ever like someone like you." Niki started to laugh at her brother.

Sapnap gritted his teeth.

"You know nothing! If you don't leave right now, I'll get my people to kill you. You'd think I have sympathy for you? Hah! Not. A. Chance." Sapnap scrowled.

"Hah! This is exactly why I stopped your little afair with the Earth nation. You really think I'd let that messenger get there? No!" Niki yelled.

Sapnap was pissed, and you could tell. His fire ability started to arise from him, changing the texture of his skin, changing his eye colour to the colours of fire. And lastly, flames arose from him. He wasn't angry, he felt rage. He wanted to shove her down the stairs just like he did when they were younger.. throw something at her, and this time she won't be able to dodge it. Not how she did when they were younger.

Niki didn't have an ability. She married Jack to make people believe she had one.

"What if I revealed your secret to your entire kingdom? Would they hate you?" Sapnap said, flames rising higher and higher.

"I have no secrets to hide." Niki said, smiling. "I've already told them.. they forgave me!" Niki said.

"You ba-" Sapnap couldn't finish the sentence as a loud rumbling sound came through the ground. "What?"

No one was able to make the ground do this.. other than King Wilbur. Sapnap looked up. King Wilbur appeared behind Niki. How did the Earth nation find out about the attack? Niki said he died..

Technoblade and Wilbur's other knight followed not long after. They immediatly attacked Niki, throwing her rythm off. She had no ability, so she had no way of surviving what was about to happen to her. Sapnap was still confused.

"How did they.." Sapnap said low, but loud enough for Dream to hear.

"It was me." Dream said. Sapnap looked at Dream.

"How did you get someone there in time?" Sapnap asked.

"That messenger was far behind. I knew faster than anyone else. I secretly sent another messenger out after you left from doing that," he stopped to wink, and Sapnap gritted his teeth. "I don't remember how I knew.. I guess I just knew."

Sapnap questioned no more. He was thankful, however still confused. He was going to make a big decision soon.
