Chapter 4

After class

Pb saw Maddie's friends talking with her, he processed his mind to see if he has enough time to stay at Maddie's house. He eventually smiled and called someone on his phone. "Hello...?" He said "I'm staying at my friend's house for one day. Is it okay? I can manage my schedule once I'm done"

Pb then got a reply on the call "sure sir it would be glad for you to stay in someone's house, don't forget to come back here." Said one of his helpers.

Pb walked up to Maddie and touched her shoulder. "hey Maddie!" "Oh hey PB what's up?" "I was wondering if there are a few bed spaces on your house?" "Yeah, we do why?" "I just decided to stay there for one day!" Maddie looked at him surprised and used a single clap.

"That's great PB! I just couldn't wait! And I know it has been years since you haven't visited there now... but! This is the chance you'll see the changes!" Pb smiled with his teeth showing out. "Is frank and jack still there?" "Of course they are! We are a family so we all live in Jackie's house. She's like a mother to me!" The pretty boy pats Maddie's head.

Maddie felt flustered. She stopped for a minute, she just couldn't believe that she is with PB as the actual PB who changed now. Not very mean, selfish, or a heartless feeling creature. "I'm a Capricorn. I hate everyone" Maddie recalled the memory of PB saying his quote and she chuckled.

"M!" Maddie looked at the sound and saw a pretty boy, feeling energetic; smiling with his dimples visible. "M! You commin' or not?" Maddie ran to the bus and hopped in. "Ah! You guys almost left me there!" Maddie said putting her bag on her lap.

"Well, you know when people get left out they'll have to go all the way home. M have you experienced that?" "Well Zoe got late and the bus left" Zoe entered their conversation "yeah the meters away from the school is about 5 kilometres so I use some type of stuff to get there. Like a bike, a skateboard or- I use my roller skates attached to my shoes. So I can just press the button and the wheels will release."

Zoe continued while looking at her nails. "Well honestly it's really hard to get there on time, actually took me 1 hour and almost late for class" Nigel kept staring at PB and Maddie. "Whoa, that's quite a genius of you Zoe! We always know you invent smart things to make it a success!" Maddie brightly said looking at Zoe that she'll make it to success.

"Ah yeah right the old memories, my record of steps when you guys included me to break out of there." Zoe smirked "yeah reaching like a thousand steps to get to the outback" "Keep remembering you calling me two nicknames!" Maddie said.

"Oh yeah. Yeah! I do, I accidentally called you Barry haha and M because of my kindness" PB said combing his white clean hair. The pretty boy looked at Zoe and Nigel and the bus with clear silence. "Right I didn't tell you both that I'm spending one night at your house," PB said, Zoe felt shocked and Nigel as well.

"WHAT?!" Shouted both of them, Nigel's was felt with excitement but for Zoe's, she wasn't sure if she either want to be happy or mad. She remembered about previous memories of Pretty Boy that he completely left them all behind when the time that they had no choice to bring the pretty boy with them from the escape.

And the time pretty boy was always so selfish and pushes them away, and how he used HER as a comd for his LOVING FUR... CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?! "What, why did you- why would- why did you even decide to stay with us?!" Pretty boy started to look outside of the window, looking at the grass from afar.

He responded, "That's because I missed so much since the moment I left at your town and I've been wanting to visit again." Zoe crossed her arms "Really? Are we just gonna forget that?" Zoe looked at Nigel "Nigel, do you remember the time PB has hated us with our presence?"

Nigel answered her honestly with his shy eyes "w-well to tell the truth... Z-Zoe I'll be honest, it was all in the past and he has completely changed! He did say goodbye to us before leaving from the past that he said right?" Nigel said with a high pitch squeak tone to the last word he said.

Zoe groaned and looked at Maddie "Maddie. Don't you remember about one time leaving without saying goodbye and just hopping to the tree seeing pretty people?! He is selfish I tell you!" Zoe said with her clenched fists and standing up on the floor of the bus.

"He is selfish! He hates us! Why would he be the famous, handsome, idiot boy? BE LIVING ON OUR HOUSE?!" Maddie frowned "HE DESPISED YOU! HE HATED YOU! HE DOESN'T EVEN BOTHER TALKING ABOUT HIS FAMILY!" Pretty boy froze and the words Zoe had said.

Completely hiding his sad emotions behind his back, he reached his chest with his right hand slowly and clenched his shirt tightly with his hand. Feeling hurtful emotions remembering the times of his mother.

Maddie gasped and looked at PB's expression, she defended him. "That's enough Zoe! You're not being a true friend!" Zoe feeling shocked "Why? His family left him because he is a complete spoiled brat!" Maddie shouted "He has never been a brat when he was little, you don't know about his family. HE DIDN'T EVEN GET TO KNOW HIS FAMILY AFTER HE WAS BORN! HE WAS AN ORPHAN ZOE!"

Maddie lost her breath and finished, she panted and took a deep breath. Zoe with her eyes wide open, never knew about this. Not even Nigel or Frank. "S-since when did you know about this?..." Maddie sat next to PB and pats his back. She looked back at Zoe again.

"I knew about it after I sang the lullaby you, Frank, and Nigel fell asleep after that. Pretty boy and I were talking in conversation. This happened about the time we were sleeping at night time."
