"I'm joining EXO again." He said and I paused.

Wait, wouldn't that make things more dangerous? Aren't we in danger because of this gang play in the first place? Did he meet up with EXO before he decided this?

"Do they know you're coming back?" I asked him, ignoring the other questions that were in my mind.

"No. I just hope what I have planned is enough to regain their trust." He said sadly. Trust?

"What do you mean?" I asked him, and he breathed out a small chuckle. "You'll understand later. For now, go to sleep. I promise, it'll make sense soon." He said and kissed my forehead.

As I closed my eyes and tried to sleep to the sound of his breathing, my mind wandered off to Baekhyun.

Did what Sehun said about his fiancée affect him so much that he turned into a completely different person? And why did he say "tae" when I tried to calm him down?

Was he calling me a byuntae? Wait, why would he....

Why did he look so heart broken when I told him to stop? Why did his eyes seem pleading for a moment before he left.

My endless thoughts drifted me off to sleep.

2 weeks later

So Ra was taking me to the doctor again, for anther check up. My mom and dad had gone overseas for my dad's business. Kris learned to forgive Sehun, and so did Luhan. But I still haven't seen Baekhyun around. Not even a glimpse.

After a lot of persuading, Sehun finally let me go to Baekhyun's house after my appointment.

Sehun had important meetings which I didn't let him miss just for this check up.

"So is everything back to normal now?" So Ra asked me as we drove to the clinic.

"Yeah I guess. So are you and Luhan...." I answered, with my voice teasingly wondering off.

"No, we're not dating."

"Friends with Benefits?" I asked her, and her face turned red as she quickly shook her head.

"No way!! " She screamed horrified and I laughed as her face twisted in disgust.

BAEKHYUN'S HOUSE

So Ra dropped me off at Baekhyun's place and left for a "friendly meeting" with Luhan. She insisted on staying to drop me back home but I told her that it was fine and that I was gonna take the bus or a cab home.

I rang his doorbell and waited.... but there's was no answer. I rang it again, but still the same response. It was Sunday, so work was over 2 hours ago, and his car was in the drive way, along with an unfamiliar car. I remember him telling me that no one comes around his house, so that must mean that it's his other car?

I knocked on the door, and was surprised when I saw that the door was already open, when it slightly opened from the touch of my knuckles.

I slowly walked in, and jumped in surprise when I heard a crash, from upstairs.

"Baekhyun?!" I called out and heard another crash.

Without a second thought I ran upstairs and followed the sound.

I heard a few grunts, as well some quiet chuckles.

I opened the door to see something horrifying.

There, on the ground, laid a bloody Baekhyun, surrounded by about six or seven men, in black face masks.

"B-Baekhyun....." I said feeling scared. His weak body moved slightly and he turned to see who had called him.

"Eunji......" He whispered weakly.

"Well, I see we have a guest! Are you here to enjoy the show?" One of the men sneered, before kicking Baekhyun harshly in the stomach, causing him to grunt, coughing out blood.

"Baekhyun!!!" I screamed and ran to his body, hovering over it on my knees.

"Eunji!! Leave, now!" He said gasping for air.

"Eunji, run!! You can't be here!! Lemme handle them." He said weakly, trying to get up, before he fell back down.

"No!" I shouted back and turned to the men, as I guarded Baekhyun, like I was his shield.

"Please, leave him alone." I said, trying to hold back tears.

"Oh, I don't know about that. Why should I leave him alone?" Another one asked. I glared, as I quickly replied with out thinking.

"Because if you don't, my husband will beat the shit out of you." I snapped and they looked taken back.

"And who exactly is your husband?" They asked, as a few of them mockingly laughed at me.

"I'm her fucking husband." Someone said from the door, and we all turned our heads to see none other than Oh Sehun.

"Sehun-ah." I breathed out.

"Well, if it isn't Oh Sehun. I see you haven't accepted Hyuna's offer? You know, 4Minute and BEAST could really use your quick reflexes and strength. Together, you would make a great team." One of the men said.

"Shut up, Sunggyeol." Sehun growled. Sunggyeol?

"So I guess these masks are no use." The same guy said and they all took off their masks.

"Why are you here?" Sehun asked angrily, glancing at me, as I made sure to not let Baekhyun close his eyes.

"To finish off Byun, what else? You know, you and your little wife over here could've saved your lives if you didn't show up. But I guess we have to finish you off as well." One with tiny eyes said, before nodding to one of his members.

Before I knew it, a cloth was pressed against my face, as I heard Sehun yells.

Suddenly, everything was black.
