"Today's week has been amazing! I got an awesome job offer to work as a server!"
I say proudly to my friend
They give me a look as if I'm crazy before saying:
"Didn't you say it was at 'that place'?"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
I asked in complete confusion
"Well apparently something happened in the daycare near where you are serving. I'm pretty sure they shut the place down for a month because of it."
To be honest, I didn't think much of it. I assumed it was just some stupid kid cried to their parents or something.
"It was probably just a little spoiled kid crying because they are scared of Sundrop the daycare attendant and their parents are extremely famous and rich and almost sued the place for it."
Random words came out of my mouth, I'm aware what I said was very specific, but I was trying to make a point. And I don't back down from challenges.
"Y/N, that's... oddly specific."
"Yeah I know, but I'm sure it was something like that."
I say, almost 100% sure it was one of those stupid cases
"Okay sure whatever I actually think someone got injured."
"Nah."
"Okay, whatever you say..."
