“Lollipops.” Kakashi repeated his wife, his brows furrowing at what she had just told him.
Karin was laying on the couch, wearing a top, her hand traveling her eminent belly. She was two months pregnant and recently, Kakashi noticed Karin and her hormones had been battling a strong fight for control inside her. He also realized her hormones had won quite frequently.
The Silver head was standing next to her, glancing down, fighting the urge to sit down and pull her to a tight hug. He knew that if he actually did it, he wouldn’t let go of her.
“Please, Kakashi. I haven’t asked for anything until now!” Karin whined, she stretched her hand and tugged her hand on his pants, pulling him closer.
He frowned. “You literally asked for a lemonade yesterday.”
“I was thirsty! Now, it’s not a request for me, it’s for your son.” Karin pointed her free hand to her belly.
“It’s a girl.” Kakashi stated, and then, he shook his head. “A lollipop.” He giggled.
“What’s so funny?” Karin sat straight on the couch, crossing her arms across her chest.
“It’s just…. Naruto called me yesterday and said his wife is having the weirdest cravings ever and here you are, asking for a lollipop.” Kakashi sat next to her, his hand instinctively going to touch her belly gently. He always loved every time his skin connected to hers, feeling the tiny chakra of their kid on his palm.
“Why did you sit? Go buy my lollipop.” Karin pushed him away from the couch, and Kakashi pouted when he lost contact with her.
“I want to spend some time with my baby girl.”
“I don’t want you. I want a lollipop!” She exclaimed, pushing him even further.
“I was talking about our daughter.” He deadpanned, leaning in to give her a quick peck on the lips.
“It’s a boy! I know it.”
Kakashi felt her words shaking, and suddenly he knew she was on verge of tears.
“Okay, okay. Which lollipop do you want?” Kakashi caught both of her hands on his, kissing every single finger while she was thinking about her answer.
“The one I used to have when we were kids.”
“But, honey, they are not produced anymore. They haven’t in years.” Kakashi informed her.
Tears began to pool on the corner of her eyes, and Kakashi felt his heart shattering. He hated to see her crying, especially when she had no control over it.
“Please, don’t cry. I’ll figure out, okay? Lemme see what I can do for both loves of mine.” He leaned in and gave her a butterfly kiss.
Kakashi had no idea how he would find it, but something on the back of his mind told there might be a place that could help him.
The last time Kakashi stepped on that same store ,The owner, an old lady, made him play cards against her, only because she didn’t like him and didn’t want to sell him what he needed. Kakashi only hoped that, by now, she would have forgotten about him.
“Not you again.” Was the first thing he heard as soon as he stepped a foot on the old place. An even older woman was standing behind the balcony, with someone at his age. Kakashi recognized her as soon as his eyes laid on her.
“I really need your help. Is there any chance you have any of those fruit lollipops that were fabricated years ago? I don’t quite remember the brand, but they were blue and very sticky.”
