The next morning, Elsa felt a whole lot better. The fever was gone, and she was determined to give Sonic the best birthday he had ever had in his life.

"How should I do this, though?" she asked herself.

Meanwhile, Sonic and Orion were getting some invitations for their little "ball" prepared.

"Just remember Sonic," said Orion, "You will need to get these around to the citizens as quietly and quickly as possible."

"Got it," said Sonic with a smile and some cockiness in his voice. "Stealth mode."

And so he signed each one as quickly as possible, threw them into the air, and placed each one into some green envelopes without having one drop on the floor. Next he threw the envelopes in the air for about halfway up as he did the last time, and with his tongue, he ran as quickly as he could and licked the envelopes and sealed them up as quickly as he licked them. And then he placed them in a mailbag. This process of getting the invitations signed, sealed up, and put in the bag had taken about one minute. Then he walked away with a promise to make sure that it was done quickly and quietly.

He walked toward the palace gates and told the guards, "Open the gates."

        "Yes sir!"

Immediately they were opened and Sonic said, "Got it. Stealth mode." He quickly ran off and grabbed one invitation out of his bag and threw it like a frisbee towards the door. Then he did it with the others. Some of them probably ended up in the windows without him knowing it,  with some people freaked out. He walked back and said to Orion, "I got all the invitations sent out, but I've only got one of each for Anna and Elsa."

Orion then looked outside the window of the writing office, and said to Sonic, "Come over to the window."

He did, and Sonic said, "Whoops."

"So that was 'stealth mode', huh?"

"Well, to be honest, not really one of my stronger modes."

"Uh, huh. Let's see if you can do a little better with Anna and Elsa."

"Okay." And Sonic walked off quietly and with a lot of excitement, too much, perhaps for his own good, because as he went to Elsa's room he chanted something like, "Da, da, da, da. Da, da, da, da. Da, da, da, da, da, da, da. Doe, de, da, da, da, da." He placed the invitation inside the door. And as he left for Anna's room he chanted, "HO, HO, HO, HO! DE, DE, DE, DUM!" And as he stepped in, he finally chanted, "BAH, DA, DE, HA, HA, AH, NAH, YAH, BYE, YA, YA, YE, YE, YE, YE, YE!" However, Anna didn't hear a thing, because she was asleep, so Sonic jumped up onto a wall to get onto the ceiling. Then he crept quietly towards her bed, and he started to climb down. However, he was not very good with wall climbing. There was a curtain on top covering the sleeping princess' head. Suddenly his foot ripped through the curtain.

"Bouncing buffers!" he exclaimed. "The curtain's torn!"

He tried to stop, but his other foot tore through the curtain and he fell on top of his sister, bounced off, and landed on the floor. His mailbag landed on her head as well.

        "CINDERS AND ASHES!" said Sonic.

Anna wasn't hurt, but she was most annoyed.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" she demanded.

So Sonic explained everything to her, and she started to calm down,
