(Wanted to put "Impresiones Del Encanto" as the ambiance music but it's only on Spotify :((( So if you wanna experience this with the song, it's on Spotify in the Encanto Soundtrack playlist)

In the middle of the Colombian forest, between, impenetrable mountains, lived a family. One that had been granted a blessing; an Encanto.  A family of four; a mother, a son, and two daughters. Each with the capability to do things that weren't really considered normal. They lived in a big house that was so happy and chipper. Their little Casita was alive. Together they led their community and tried their best at making it a better place.

The family though was quite the peculiar one. A single mother and her triplets. Alma, the head of the glorious Madrigal home, was a gentle woman. Yet, as gentle as she was, the loss of her husband had awakened a certain sense of leadership. She had been protected by the Encanto when their home was taken from them. The mighty candle that had given them their Encanto and their home, had also given her children gifts.

Julieta, a happy little girl that cared for everyone and loved to cook, was given the gift to heal with the food she made. Her sister, Pepa, who was quite the emotional girl, got the gift to control the weather. And finally, Bruno. A boy that was quite superstitious and very kindhearted, received the gift to look into the future.

All of them grew up helping the village in which they lived. Julieta would set up a little stand in which she would feed arepas to the sick and heal them, Pepa would water crops and provide the perfect amount of sunlight for them to grow (if she wasn't having a bad day), and Bruno... well... he told the townspeople their future. When it was a good vision, they'd praise him and say that he brought good luck. Yet, when his vision was about a misfortune that was to happen, they'd go around saying that all that Bruno did was bring upon them a curse. He was quite used to it already, almost to the point that he didn't look forward to even using his gift for anything.

And well, they grew up just like that. For Julieta and Pepa it was just another day in the life, but for Bruno, it was another day in his pathetic life. And to be honest, this story remains as such for a while as we follow the dreaded mental suffering of this poor man, and the weight of knowing the future and not being able to change it.
