"Alex get your ass down here!!" Stephen yelled from downstairs. Alex groaned and sat up. He looked at his phone. "Gah!" He squinted. 7:30. He got out of bed and went to take a shower. 15 minutes later, Alex was ready and dressed downstairs.

"Finally, I thought it would be decade by the time you got down here." Stephen smiled at me. Alex shook his head, taking the plate he handed him.

"You got everything you need kiddo?" "I'm just bringing my binder and pencil today." He nodded. Alex got up and put his dishes in the sink. He grabbed his pills, taking two and slipping the bottle in his pocket. Stephen got up, heading over to put his dishes in the sink. Stephen nodded signaling he's ready to go. Alex followed him out the door, a whole new nervousness settling in.

Alex got out of the car. "Call me so I can come pick you up." Stephen said before pulling off.

He sighed. Walking up to the double doors, he tripped, earning him a few snickers from other students. He kept his head low. 'They are mean.' A voice said in his head. He agreed with the voice.

Upon entering the school, he realized how big it actually was. He wondered around for a bit before finding the main office. He walked up to the lady in the front desk. "How may I help you?" She asked in a sweet, motherly voice. "U-Um, I-I'm n-new." I murmured. "Name?" "A-Alex S-Sanders." 'Damn, my stuttering is back, I'm too nervous.'

He watched as she typed it in. "Ah, here it is." She printed out a sheet of paper and handed it to him. "Here ya are. Right now you missed home room so we are in 2nd period. You have Dr. Peters, room 321. It's upstairs 5th classroom on your left." She smiled at him. "T-Thank Y-You." Alex smiled back timidly before walking out.

He walked through the halls before finding a staircase. He walked up, running his hands along the rail. Counting the door on the left, he found room 321.

Alex entered and felt everyone's eyes turn to him. "Oh, you must be Alex?" As he spoke, Alex could tell he was nervous. 'He's scared of you.' The same voice said. Alex smirked slightly. "You'll be sitting next to Connor. Connor raise your hand." He saw a guy with dark brown eyes raise his hand. He walked over to him and sat down in the empty desk.

He began a lecture about some historical event that Alex learned about already. He glanced over at Connor and chuckled at how serious he looked. Connor heard him and looked over with a raised eyebrow. Alex looked away blushing. "Hey." He whispered. Alex looked at him. "Did your eyes change color." He nodded. "Cool." Alex smiled, then felt eyes glaring through his skull.

He looked around until he found a girl with, to be honest, way to much make-up. 'Freak' She mouthed to him. Alex's hand shook involuntarily. He got up and walked out the class, ignoring the teacher's yelling.
