                       Bakugo;

"Her identity has been hidden for years now, how the hell are we gonna get any leads?" Midoriya paced his techie base back and forth. He had studied the same 4 second clip of a sighting caught on camera by a civilian. The clip showed Magenta standing over iida, it was obvious she was saying something but you couldn't hear her. She then turns to the camera and the civilian holding the phone yelped. That's where the video ends.

He's been camping out here, he hasn't gone on patrol in weeks, Todoroki and I have been filling in his shifts.

"There's got to be a reason for her to be targeting specifically ex-U.A students, but what is it?" He asked. Todoroki looked up in thought, before furrowing his eyebrows.

"She.. doesn't attack civilians?" He asked. Midoriya shook his head and walked over to a computer.

"Witness reports say she went nowhere near the civilians. In fact, the bystander who caught this video, May Newton, a viral journalist, said that after that video was taken, Magenta didn't even touch her." Midoriya frantically clicked a pen he was holding.

"What kind of a villain..." Todoroki and Midoriya just couldn't connect the dots. God, these two are fucking idiots.

"Bakugo, what's your take on all this?" Midoriya didn't take his eyes off of the clip.

I've hidden her identity from them for weeks now. I knew who magenta was since she made her first debut 5 years ago. A sixteen year old girl fighting good with evil. Even then, civilians were never her targets.

What am I doing? Why am I hiding this from them? I could get her detained, I could save all the heroes that are in potential danger. But should I?

I'll never forget the question she asked me;

"What makes a hero?"

Perhaps she had a point. None of us are heroes.. but still, she's no saint.. she's hurting people.

But so are we..

"No idea." I lied.

Why am I lying? Isn't she a villain? Why am I lying for a villain?

"It seems that some people are more hurt than others.. iida is in fatal condition, while kaminari is just bruised up.. Todoroki didn't suffer any physical harm at all.. and she hasn't come for me.. yet.." Midoriya studied.

Todoroki's watch vibrated, catching his attention.

"Oh. I've got business to attend to, but midoriya.. take a break." He says.
Midoriya practically ignored it.

"Be safe out there, and if you hear anything about this, report back to me." Midoriya replied absentmindedly. Did he even hear what Shoto said?

"Bakugo, you should get to patrol." Todoroki advised. I nodded before making my way to the door.
