Velvet picked up another box and loaded it into the truck, "ah! I think there's only a few more boxes left" she said dusting her hands off with a proud smile. Her older brother, Carlos, snickered "you only moved like, 3 boxes". She frowned. "Hey! At least I'm helping".
"Hey Carlos! Catch!"
Velvet whipped around to see her younger sister, Jordan, tossing a box at him. Little did Jordan know, Velvet was standing in front of him. The box flew into her face which caused her to fall backwards.
"Sheesh, Vel? Are you alright?" Carlos asked holding out a hand to help her up. She just groaned in response. Jordan raced forward, being the most athletic out of her 14 siblings.
She winced at the sight and grabbed the box to push it inside the truck. "You could've just did that.." Velvet said rubbing her head.
Jordan scoffed, "that would've been boring, it isn't my fault you don't know how to catch things" She said. Velvet growled "I wasn't even ready! Plus, it's literally a box! How am I supposed to catch that!" She said raising her arms.
Her other little sister, Jade, leaned on her shoulder with a smirk "it isn't that hard to catch a box vel".
Velvet gasped "I didn't even see it coming! So that's not fair"."Terry, Larry, and Jerry are all gonna be dead!"Velvet heard her oldest sister, Laurie, say. Velvet sighed and marched back into the house, "what did those little rascals do now..".
"Attack!" Jerry shouted from behind the couch, two 7 year old boys jumped onto her back.
"Wha-"
She fell face first into the dirty rug floor. Larry and Terry were both beating her with pool noodles. As soon as Jerry was about to join in, Evelyn thankfully stopped them.
"Hey you three, Have you even finished putting up your bags?" She asked gently. They all shook their heads in unison. She kneeled down, "well shouldn't you be doing that?" She said smoothly.
They all grabbed their pool noodles and scurried off to finish help packing. Velvet doubted that. They must be bothering someone else now..
Velvet pushed herself up to a sitting position and let out an exaggerated sigh. "Why is it always me?". Evelyn chuckled "you're an easy target" she said removing a pink, dirty lollipop from her little sisters red hair.
Velvet grabbed the lollipop and looked at it uncertainly, "how did that even get there!?". Evelyn looked at her plainly, "it's been there since yesterday..".
Velvet gasped "why didn't you tell me!?". Evelyn stood up, grabbing onto her suitcase handle "I told you yesterday, but you were to busy trying to get Pure Vanilla from that cookie game"
She watched her older sister walk out the door dragging her suitcase.
She stood up tossing the lollipop onto the rug. Man was she happy they were moving today..
Her little sisters, Bonnie, Jennifer, and Wendy. Bonnie frowned "guys! You're ruining me and Ms. Pony's moving party!" She exclaimed raising her arms.
Wendy scowled "but Mr. Dragon wants to join!" Jennifer just watched them argue with her arms crossed. Bonnie scoffed "No stinky dragons aloud!"
She walked up the steps "Vel! Tell them no dragons aloud!" Bonnie ordered. Velvet paused. "Oh uhhh, no dragons..aloud..?" She said sheepishly. Jennifer snickered and Velvet shot her a glare.
Wendy stuck her tongue out at her younger sister and continued to pretend that her toy dragon was attacking Ms. Pony.
"RAAAWR!"
