After what had happened, prof. Arthur decided on a 1-day trip sa beach, he said na we needed some rest daw from all of these assassinations and training. Of course prof. Kram agreed, he said that he always wanted to visit the ocean again, that's why right now we're riding on a bus, and on our way sa beach.
"Sabi ni prof. Arthur na public beach daw ang pupuntahan natin," I heard Andrei talking to Axon na naka upo sa tabi nya. Nakisalit naman ako sa kanila kasi nasa likoran lang nila ako naka-upo, kaya dumungaw ako sa likoran nila, joining in their conversation.
"Yeah, that's what prof. Arthur said," Axon agreed to Andrei sabay tango.
"Isn't it weird na sa public beach tayo? Minsan nag rerent sila ng private beach or yung exclusive lang sa atin," I joined in, kaya napatingin silang dalawa sa akin. Tumayo at dumungaw naman si Janna para makisali nalang rin sa amin, magkatabi kasi kami.
"Totoo, naghihirap na ba sina prof. Arthur?" Janna joked, and now joining in our conversation.
"I think yung mga exclusive at private ones, para sa mga training lang natin yun, since ito trip lang, no need na mag paprivate," sabay naman kaming apat napatingin kang Atsuki na naka-upo sa other row of the bus tabi lang nila Andrei.
"You're not wrong, baka yan nga ang dahilan," Axon agreed, tumango naman kaming tatlo, also agreeing to what Atsuki said.
We just started talking again while prof. Kram is happily talking with Aira and some of my classmates na naka-upo close sa kanya.
THIRD-PERSON POV
Their bus finally arrived in the beach, lumabas naman ang mga classmate nila and sumunod na si Rain, kasama si Janna, Daichi, and Ryuuk, and they are carrying their baggages. Napansin naman nila Rain na may biglang tumabi sa kanila kaya nagtinginan sila kung sino yun.
"I miss this," their prof. Kram said, humigop naman sya ng maraming hangin and released a sigh and smiled.
"Nostalgic po ba prof?" Daichi asked when they noticed how he look at the beach.
Their professor just look at them and smiled, "I guess," he answered, "what about you guys? Bakit di kayo mukang excited," he asked them.
"Oh, masaya ako, finally a vacation," Daichi said with a smile, "Ryuuk feels the same way," he followed trying to let their professor what the quiet student feel.
The vampire chuckled at what his student said, and look at Janna when she started talking, "I don't know how to swim kaya minsan di ako naeexcite sa beach, or pools," she said and started pouting.
"I can teach you if you'd like," their professor offered to his student.
Ngumiti naman si Janna, "talaga," she happily said, "dapat mataas pasensya nyo po prof, kasi medyo matakutin din ako sa tubig," she added and laughed, na ikinatawa naman ng kaibigan nya and so as the vampire.
"Don't worry, I'll try my best," their professor said giving her assurance that he will not give up on her.
Nagtinginan naman sila kang Rain na tahimik lang nakatingin sa kanila, "what?" She asked when she noticed their stares.
"What about you? Di ka ba excited makita ang beach?" Daichi asked.
"Okay lang, not really excited, palagi kasi kaming pumupunta sa beach," she answered, tumango lang sila and started going to the cottage.
