In her kitchen, Y/n was making a small smoothie for herself, craving one. It was the next morning after Jungkook and Y/n's little argument, and she really didn't want to argue with him, but he pissed her off and she pissed him off.

Y/n is normally never sorry for things, and she wasn't sorry for this, but she did feel a little guilty. Maybe she should have thought about how he would feel, something she never usually does.

She didn't want to complicate more things in Jungkook's life. She didn't want to be a bother to him like that.

Pouring the smoothie into her glass, she put the blender back into its placeholder before she took a small sip from the smoothie she just made, a satisfied smile on her face after tasting it.

Just then, Jungkook had walked into the room, a quiet sigh escaping his lips once he saw her standing behind the kitchen counter, not aware of his presence yet.

Jungkook was still mad at her, more than that, but he didn't want to fight or argue. He just wanted her to understand why he was angry.

"Hey.."

She looked up once she heard his quiet voice, staying silent once she saw his shirtless figure there.

Y/n turned around, her back facing him as she turned the tap on, letting the warm water run out as she began to wash the blender she had just used to make her smoothie.

Jungkook disliked the silent treatment he was getting from her, but he decided to leave it alone, refusing to get into another argument. He walked over to her slowly, standing behind her as she washed the blender.

"I'm sorry..for last night. I didn't want to argue with you." He spoke softly, Y/n still giving him the silent treatment.

"I just..wanted you to understand."

Y/n turned the tap off and finally turned around to face him. She walked over to the kitchen counter and jumped up slightly to sit on the surface. Jungkook watched her actions, taking this as a sign that she would listen to what he has to say.

"I didn't want you to join, because I have a lot of dark shit in my past..and I didn't want you to know about it." He explained softly as she hesitantly responded.

"You don't trust me?"

"No, I do, Y/n. I do..but you're the only person who doesn't know out of all my friends, and I just didn't want you to pity me."

"Jungkook..I'm not like that. If you don't want me to pity you..then I won't."

She was honestly feeling guilty. She already knew about his mom, well only a small bit of it, and she was hiding that from him.

"I just don't want you to view me as a sad, broken boy.." Y/n let out a sigh.

"Then I won't."

Jungkook took a few small steps towards her, standing between her legs, suddenly reaching his hand to her waist, placing it there gently.

"You don't have to lie to make me happy, Y/n.."

"No, really, I won't pity you. I hate the feeling of when my friends pity me, and I won't do that to you.."
