Genevieve pov: I was staring at the rain outside the window I was at my favorite coffee shop I went there almost everyday."you look like you haven't slept in weeks,"Liam stated he sounded worried.Liam was the barista he was a very tall guy he had black hair hazel eyes and light skin and even though I had just moved to this ho-dunk town and he was already my best friend. I am excited that in a week I will have my 1 month pay raise. I moved to this town when I turned eighteen a little over a month ago.
"yeah umm I wasn't able to sleep last night I got caught up. I was talking to my mom for the first time since I moved here,"I sighed.
"I assumed you were here to make conversation,"he put his hand over his heart as if he had been stabbed letting his mouth gape open,"but I should have known you only wanted coffee".
"Oh come on don't cry,"I giggled grinning at him.The bell on the door of the coffee shop rang. That's when I saw a guy walk in I was about to leave when he pushed me into a wall causing me to spill my steaming hot coffee down my dress. He walked by unconcerned. I wasn't in the mood to start anything or I should say I didn't have the time to start anything. "I-I have to get to work,"I whispered to Liam as I left the shop as soon as I exited I could feel how deep the coffee had burned there were boils forming only a second degree burn that's good it's not third but second degree is the most painful.
Felix pov:
Ugh I entered the coffee shop I was there to do work.A very well dressed girl was walking past me I don't know why I did it but I bumped into her I guess I was just trying to cause mischief I thought that she was holding an iced coffee turned out it was hot and when I bumped into her she spilled it all over herself I saw her about to say something but then she just kept quiet then the barista walked over "I-I have to get work,"she said. When she walked out I saw burns second degree ugh and she's on her way to work what was this feeling I felt for a split second ...was this remorse.
