The truth (encanto next generation)

Chapter 1

"What do you mean..?"

"The magic is being destroyed." The man stepped forward and stared at her with his glowing green eyes. "Nobody can save it.

   Rory woke up and frantically looked around, only to find herself in her bedroom.

"But it felt so real..." She quietly stepped out of her room, trying her best not to wake up anyone. She was suprised delores did wake up from how fast her heart was beating.

She poured the water took a sip. When she looked up she saw a pair of green eyes staring back at her. She let out a gasp of horror and dropped the glass. "Oh come on!"

"Rory? ¿Está todo bien?" (is everything okay?)

"Si delores! i just got spooked by a shadow."

"Oh okay. Go back to bed, i'll clean it up.  You need rest for tomorrow's big day"

Oh right. She had almost forgotten about miracle day. (A/N i know it's a bad name just bare with me)

Rory tiptoed back up the stairs and went back to her room, but she still couldn't calm down. "It was your imagination. You need to sleep." She forced her eyes shut, and after a while she fell asleep, but she kept waking back up. "I'm really starting to hate the color green..." she mumbled.

Time skip to the morning!

"Rory get up!!"

Rory was rudely woken up by Sam jumping onto her bed. "Sam get off me.!"

"Okay fine. But if you aren't downstairs in 10 minutes i'm getting Kai!" And with that Sam shut the door and skipped down the stairs. (A/N Sam teach me your talents TwT)

Rory walked up to her closet and stared at the dresses. This one will do. She grabbed a light blue dress with flowers on it and grabbed a random pair of fancy shoes. She then sprinted downstairs so Sam wouldn't bother her again.

"Oh wow you're still alive?" Sam looked at her with a mischievous grin. "Miss me?" She asked jokingly.

"Sam! Rory! hey over here!" The cousins exchanged a bewildered glance before rushing to the kitchen.

"Ok great you're up. You two need to help julieta cook the food. And be fast, the festival is in 3 hours."

"Ah yes. we need to rush too make food that takes only 20 minutes so we're not late to a festival that's in 3 hours." Sam whispered to Rory before walking over to grab the ingredients.
