IS THIS A DATE?

This Chapter is from Marco's POV.
I wake up with a smile on my face. I can't believe she asked ME out!
Marco: "TYLER!!!"
I yell
Tyler: "What"
He says walking over to my room
Marco: "Jade asked me out"
Tyler: "like on a date?"
Marco: "I don't know, is this a date"
Tyler: "what or where are you guys going"
Marco: "I don't know, she didn't say"
Marco: "She just asked if I wanted to get food"
Tyler: " Just ask her if it's a date when you get there"
Marco: "I don't know if I should, it could just make it weird"
Tyler: "Then I guess we'll never know"
I get dressed and wait for 1:00 to roll around, it felt like an eternity wait for her. I soon get a text reading, "I'm outside". I walk outside to find Jade on her phone sitting in her car. Her car is nice but it's not flashy , she drives a black Buick Encore.
I open the door and get in.
Jade: "Hey"
Marco: "Hey, where are we going?"
Jade: "I wanted to go to this mexican restaurant by the park"
Marco: "Alright let's do it, I love mexican food"
Jade drives to the restaurant and we enter the place and it is packed. Jade asks the hostess,
Jade: "How long is the wait"
Hostess: 1 -2 hours, i'm sorry we're very busy, would you like to leave your number in case a table opens up?"
Jade: " No that's ok, we'll try again a different day"
I think to myself about the possibility of there being a next time, I get a little red.
We leave the restaurant and walking towards the car. Jade looks at me, I'm still a little red, she laughs
Marco: "What's so funny?"
Jade: "Your blushing"
She says laughing
We get in the car not sure if we should just go home or try a different activity
Jade: "Is that amusement park still here"
Marco: "Yeah I think so"
Jade: "Wanna go tomorrow?"
Marco:"Why not right now"
Jade: " Well I was thinking we could just go get In n Out and go back to either my house or yours"
Jade: "Is Tyler home?"
Marco: "No I don't think so, I think he's out with Jaz all day"
Jade: ok, let's go back to your house then, my apartment is being cleaned, i'm currently staying with my mom and I don't think you wanna meet her yet."
Marco: "Haha, why is that@
Jade: "She is very nosey and intense"
Marco: "Maybe one day"
Jade: "Maybe"
We go back to my apartment after going to In n Out, then we watch a movie and chill at the apartment. I look over a Jade and she's asleep. I look at my phone, it's only 9pm, I just let her sleep, i'm guessing she must have had a late night. Jaz and Tyler come home and see Me and Jade on the Couch.
Jaz: "Dang what y'all do today"
Marco: Nothing much, we were gonna go get some food but the restaurant was packed so we got some In n Out and came back here and watched a movie"
Jaz walks over to the couch and pokes Jade awake
Jaz: "Jade, wake up"
She looks up and sees Jaz and looks at me then Tyler
Jade: "Oh shit, what time is it?"
Jade: "Did i fall asleep"
Tyler: "It's only 10:45"
Jaz: "Why don't you just stay the night here with Me, Marco, and Tyler, We can have a sleepover!"
Tyler: "You ok with that Marco?"
Tyler says laughing
Marco: "Sure why wouldn't I be"
Jade: "um ok, let me tell my mom i'm not coming home tonight"
She then takes out her phone and steps out the room . After she's done she comes back in and says
Jade: "Jaz, you have any spare, clothes, I would rather not sleep in Jeans"
Jaz: "No, sorry"
Marco: "I could give you some sweats or something"
Jade: "Ok"
she follows me to my room and I show her my closet
Marco: " Pick anything"
Jade: "Ok, thank you"
she picks my blue nike sweatpants.
Marco: "You can use my room to get dressed and you can just leave you jeans on my bed "
Jade: "Ok"
she comes out my room with my sweats on, you can tell they are too big for her small frame, by the way she had to roll them up at her waist.
Jade: "Ok guys what do you want to do?"
