The rainy day

The necklace

     You went and sat on the couch opposite of him and started to admire his breathtaking features. His beautiful brown eyes that shined in the sunlight, his soft brown hair, his tall physique, and his ability to dress were just very few reasons why you were in love with him. Also, the way he cared about people was amazing to you.

   Oh, and he's your best friend. Since you were a 4 year old girl, you and Namjoon have always been best friends and for as long as you can remember, he has always managed to find a way to sweep you off your feet. "Hey Joon.", you shouted to the kitchen. "Yes, Y/N?", he asked kindly. 

  "Do you wanna order some take out?", hoping he'd say yes. " Yeah sure!" So, you ran downstairs to go ask Jungkook what we should get to eat for dinner. "Pizza sounds nice", he said. 

   As you were pulling out of Namjoon's driveway to go pick up the pizza, you got a message that read. " Guess who got asked out by Eve?" Dreadfully, you knew the answer and replied "you".  " Duh", he replied quickly. 

 Eve was the most popular girl in school and was the official heartthrob. Since 6th Grade, Namjoon has had a huge crush on her and it was slowly breaking your heart. But you hoped one day, you would be the girl in Namjoon's arms. Plus, Eve was so rude to you in particular because she knew about your crush on Namjoon and tried her best to ruin our friendship.

   After dinner, you heard Namjoon calling your name from his room. When you walked in, he had a box with a good ribbon that said "Happy early birthday!" You could feel your eyes tearing up as you ran to him and gave him a big hug. "Y/N, don't cry it's okay."

  All you could say is, " I'll never take it off, thank you." As he pulled away and helped you put on the necklace with a smile which made you smile back. "It was amazing seeing you as usual but me and kookie have to head home."  "I'll see you at school.", he said as he watched you pull out of his driveway.
