In his free time away from the strict regiment of training, and getting reacquainted with Maritiseis and her sexual appetites, Donald studied the history of Malrishi.

Malrishi was a world like any other that perpetuated a highly sophisticated and totalitarian government, overseen by a strict, severe, and often cruel, L'majha goddess, Empress Maritiseis.

As an alternative to provinces scattered, lands and kingdoms huddled together, and would become one for strength and support. So it wasn't odd to find several lords of the lands brushing right up next to each other, sometimes intersecting territories.

High up in the mountains of Molumiir, stood the Grand Kingdom known as Ladiston. It was a large providence, spreading throughout the mountains and consisted congruously of four smaller kingdoms that made up the whole.

Ruled by four kings; each king had a throne in the Unity Hall, as well as having a throne in their own royal palace, all of who were seeking the ultimate 'seat of authority' beyond Ladiston, seeking the hand of Maritiseis.

As technology was arbitrarily handed out to all the other kingdoms that peppered the globe, unknown to all the foolish kings, the Empress had higher ideals.

Krystau, Diaas, Savis, and Vaina, were the four kingdoms that were Ladiston.

Each king from each kingdom wanted to wed the Empress, and three out of the four lords had intentions that were neither noble nor scrupulous; for they were not inexpert to the history of Maritiseis, and how she overthrew the dorians, nor were they blind to her wiles; Almost single-handedly, utilizing her attributes, the Empress conquered the planet Malrishi. Utilizing her attributes, her strengths, her power of seduction, like no other L'majha on the planet, Maritiseis overthrew the malari dorians of Malrishi.

And after the dust from the onslaught settled, the Empress took the male population of the malari dorians and either imprisoned the male dorians, made them her slaves, or if they really fucked up, she turned them into genetically engineered marachni; which was essentially the crossbreeding of a giant scorpion with a giant spider, laced with a shivis; so that the outcome was something that resembled an arachnid with the upper-body of a dorian with four arms, centuarial in nature with a remarkable tail that came to an end at a wickedly barbed stinging appendage; the creatures were ugly and poisonous as the gases in Infernos. The malari dorians that lived called it cruelty; however, with all that Maritiseis had been through-seeing her people raped-and or killed-she didn't give much of a damn what they thought.

Unfortunately, the lust of the L'majha required other forms of satiation; their kind demanded 'spice' in their lives, and after ten years of abstinence, the L'majha demanded that those imprisoned must go free.

Fearing another uprising, Maritiseis unlocked the gates of the prisons, only under the following conditions: first a prisoner had to be taken under the wings of a L'majha, either as consort, boy-toy, or servant; Second if a dorian was found doing anything that remotely resembled deviation under the principles of rules and conduct set by the L'majha, the dorian was punished in a manner befitting the crime; lastly if any dorian was found guilty of murder, said criminal was either put to death along with five other dorians chosen at random to share the criminal's fate, or said criminal would be transformed into a marachni, right along with five other dorians chosen at random.

It wasn't unheard of for the other five to challenge the one, and Maritiseis often times looked forward to it; if the other five were to kill the one in the arena, the Empress felt justice was done, and, if the one managed to kill the other five, then Maritiseis knew that she had a soldier worthy enough to join the ranks of the Imperial Guard, and perhaps the Imperial Cadre as well; either way justice was served.
