Chapter 20!! Whoop whoop! Happy reading x

"I'm scared, Reminisce."

"There's nothing for you to be scared about." She had assured Savannah, who was waiting in line to talk to the vice principal of the school.

The real principal of the school wasn't around because he had to go abroad for a funeral.

And even though the vice principal couldn't really have done much, he could have talked to the actual principal, and hopefully good things would have gone from there.

Savannah had never even thought of talking to him about her teacher, until Tatiana and Reminisce had brought it up a few minutes ago.

She had been waiting in line for about twenty minutes: it had seemed as though a lot of people wanted to talk to him.

The waiting time was never this long for when the actual principal was around, which could have hinted that people had preferred the vice principal compared to the real one.

Savannah had never talked to him before although from what she had heard, he was a very nice and understanding person.

"Are you going to wait for me as I talk to him?"

"It depends how long you take because I do have some things to do," she had informed her. "If you take longer than fifteen minutes, then I'm out. Sorry."

She would have made it twenty but she didn't have the time to do so.

Just as Savannah was about to open her mouth to say something, the person in the office right now had come out, and because she was next it was therefore her turn to go inside.

She had taken a deep breath as she had gone inside, this tension felt like she was about to do a very huge exam that would have determined the outcome of her future or something.

Reminisce had wished her good luck, promising not to tell the boys about any of this when Savannah had asked her if she was going to tell anyone, minus Tatiana who already knew everything.

Señor Rodriguez had stared at her as she had come inside, smiling. He didn't know that she had gotten expelled yet, but he was yet to find out.

He was from the Dominican Republic and he had been a vice principal of the creative arts school for about five years now.

If the principal was still alive in five years' time, as anything could have happened, then he would have made him the principal. The current principal, Dr Hazelton, was approaching 70 so he needed to retire.

"If it ain't Savannah Parker," he had beamed when he had seen her. "One of the best students I've ever heard about. How do you do?"

He clearly had no idea that Darius had expelled her.

Which was another thing.

Had he expelled her from the course or just his class?

Apparently he was the head of the course.

"I really need to talk to you about something, hence why I'm here," she had told him quickly, sitting down as fast as she could. "I'm in deep trouble."

"What's going on?"

Too many things were going on.

Darius had expelled the girl and her mum hadn't known about it yet.
