My alarm sounded as I wrote in my journal very fast
I'm out of time
I turned my alarm off and got up looking at the clock on my wall
The key to my closet was still sitting on top of it so I grabbed it
I heard footsteps as I unlocked my closet and opened it but as soon as the doors opened, my aunt walked in my room
"Pootie I know you have school today but I really need a sitter so I can go to work....can you please stay home? And I'll pay you to watch nezzi?" My aunt asked as she wiped a piece of hair from her tired face
I have finals in all classes today but decided I could help my aunt because I know her son won't do it
"Of course I can aunty you don't have to pay me" I nodded and pushed my glasses up on my face
"Thank you so much and I promise I'll make it up to you okay?" She sighed and hugged me
She always tells me she'll make it up to me but she always forgets and I used to look forward to her "making it up"
"Okay" I smiled and nodded just like always though I knew it wouldn't lead to anything
She walked out and I put my journal in the very back of my very top shelf before locking my closet again and replacing the key on the clock
