Penelope,
In the fields of asphodel she rotted.
To change things in the past,
a plan she plotted.
Built a machine,
Set a sail through space.
Homer composed verses for Her husband,
Penelope was equally- worthy of praise.
Helen she took captive,
For she set the civilisation alight.
Sent Penelope's husband away for twenty years,
Even when he returned her sun never shined bright.
Only if the Trojan war she could stop,
She often dreamt of battling in the war.
But a sword she did not require,
For having a sharper brain was her reward.
She tricked Paris,
Helen he believed was She.
When they boarded the ship,
Set the fire and ran free.
Why is Helen famous for ending the civilisation?
When Penelope saved it by going on a killing spree?
Without touching the waters of the river Styx,
A true Greek hero she should be.
