Never Meant To Be

Izzy's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes. My heart got broken as the tears fell out of my eyes. I saw Jake kissing Marina. He cheated on me. I can't believe it, he used to always tell me that I would be his forever but now he left. I ran away from it all.

I ran to my bed as soon as I reached the hideout.

"Izzy? Are you okay?" I heard Cubby ask me.

"Jake cheated on me!" I exclaimed

"What?! I'm going to find him!" Cubby exclaimed as he ran to find Jake.

I continued to cry into my pillow as I was looking at the picture of me and Jake on my wall.

My heart was broken.

Cubby's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes, Jake was cheating on Izzy with Marina. How could he do this to her?

I thought he wouldn't be the type to cheat on girls.

"Jake!" I yelled his name as he looked over his shoulder and he looked shocked.

"Cubby, please don't tell Izzy." Jake exclaimed, nervously.

"Too late, she saw it before I did and now she's crying her heart out. How could you Jake? You've just destroyed the team." I exclaimed as I was so ashamed of Jake.

Peter's POV

I was coming to see how my pirate crew was doing and as I flew through their bedroom window, I heard tears. They sounded familiar. Izzy.

"Izzy? Are you okay?" I asked her as she was crying on her bed.

"Jake cheated on me." Izzy exclaimed while she sobbed even more.

I was really angry at Jake. How could he do this to Izzy? I thought he really loved her and wanted to marry her in the future.

"Do you want me to talk to him?" I asked her.

"No. Me and him are through. He left me. I'm truly heartbroken." Izzy exclaimed as she continued to cry.

I hugged her as she needed a shoulder to cry on.

"Thanks Peter but I don't know how I'm going to get over it. I mean my wall is covered with him on it." Izzy exclaimed as she looked at her wall with her and Jake's pictures including when they were little.

"I know Izzy." I exclaimed as we saw Jake run into the room.

"Izzy! I am so sorry!" Jake tried to apologise but Izzy threw a pillow at him.

"I don't want your apology. We're over!" Izzy sobbed as she cried into my chest.

"Fine! I'll just move out then!" Jake yelled as he stormed out of the bedroom to grab his suitcase.

I went to go after him but Izzy stopped me.

"Leave him Peter. He's better off not belonging here." Izzy exclaimed.

All I know is that the crew is broken just because of a stupid mistake that Jake made.

"Do you want me to stay with you?" I asked her as she nodded her head.

She layed her head on my shoulder while I was rubbing her head and kissing her forehead.

"It's going to be okay. You're going to be okay." I whispered as I was hugging her.

"I can't believe Jake treated me like that. Worst of all, he's been my best friend since we were two years old. How could he do that to me? I trusted him so much." Izzy exclaimed as she continued to cry.

"Izz, it's going to be okay. He's obviously not meant to be yours, if he's going to treat you like that. There are always going to be other fishes in the sea. Maybe some in front of your eyes." I exclaimed.

"Thanks Peter but I'm not ready for another relationship. I'm not a toy, boys shouldn't play around like that." Izzy exclaimed.

"Izzy, not every boy is like that." I exclaimed.

"That's what I thought about Jake. I thought he wasn't like that until I find him cheating on me." Izzy exclaimed.

"Izz, everything is going to be okay." I exclaimed until I saw her eyes, swell up with tears.

"Jake used to call me that!" Izzy sobbed as she fell into my arms, sobbing her heart out.

"I'm sorry Izzy." I apologised to her.

"It's okay. I know there are other fish in the sea but I thought Jake was my soulmate. I thought we were going to get married, have kids, and grow old together but he decided to ruin all of that. I think that will be the last time I will ever see him." Izzy explained her feelings about Jake.

"Everyone used to tease us when we were little that we were going to get married even though we would never believe that. Boys like him are jerks." Izzy exclaimed.

"Izzy, everything will be okay. I understand that you're heartbroken and that's okay. It will be okay and you will be ready for another relationship." I exclaimed.

I have feelings for her but I couldn't tell her because she was with Jake. I can't tell her now because she's heartbroken about Jake cheating on her.

"I should've never gone out with him. It's true, a guy's name who begins with a J will always play with you." Izzy exclaimed.

"Izzy, don't let a thing on social media let you think like that. The first letter of a boy's name, shouldn't make you think that every boy's name that begins with J are jerks." I exclaimed.

"I just wish he wasn't like that. I'm not ready for another relationship. I'm just going to take this time by myself but I'm sorry Peter." Izzy exclaimed.

"Sorry what?" I asked her.

"For ruining your ideal pirate team. I mean Jake has left and he's the captain. It's only me, Cubby, and Skully left." She exclaimed.

"Izzy, it's okay. It's Jake's fault. He's the one who cheated on you and that ruined the team." I exclaimed as I kissed her on the forehead.

The pirate team is broken.
