I already had a feeling about how today would go. It's Sheldon's doctor's appointment and he hates the hospital. He tries to put up a fight but in the end he loses. Last time I had to get Penny's help, but this time hopefully it goes better. I told him last night what we are doing today and he didn't put up a fight.

"Sheldon, buddy. It's time to get up. I'll be waiting for you in the living room. Remember, no food."

"No, I don't wanna." Sheldon whines out, hiding under the blankets.

"Don't make me call Penny. Now are you gonna get up and get dressed?"

"You are mean, can I at least eat first?" He asked, while getting dressed

I pop my head around the corner with his coak, saying. "Sheldon, you already know you can't. If you're good we can stop at the comic store. Now come on and get in the car."

Time skip, at the hospital's parking spot.

"Sheldon Cooper, get out of this car right this minute. I will call Penny." I say, phone already in my hand.

"I wanna go home. I don't like it here. Call her, I don't care." He says, looking down at his feet.

Hey Penny, It's Lenorad. I need you to come down to the hospital's parking lot. Yea it's Sheldon. He doesn't want to leave the car. Oh okay, see you soon.

"She's on her way, she is only a few minutes away. I think she was picking something up for you buddy."

I was watching his expression when telling him and I think he relished what happened.

"No, I-I don't wanna be here. Let me out. Leonard please, I can't do this." He sounds close to crying.

I'm quick to climb in next to him and unbuckle his seat belt. I pull him onto my lap so he's faceing me, his head on my neck.

"Hey buddy, I need you to take some deep breaths for me."

I exaggerate my breathing in hopes Sheldon will match mine. It takes a bit but by the time he's more calm, Penny has arrived. I moved the both of us so we are now standing outside the car. I made sure to lock the doors this time.

"Sheldon, can you look at me? I'm just gonna clean your face then the three of us are gonna go for a little walk." Penny says, lifting Sheldon's head a bit.

"Can we go home? I don't want to be here." He says, quietly.

"Sheldon, you know we can't go yet. You still have your appointment to go to." Penny says.

I adjust myself so that one hand is holding him up and the other is rubbing his back. It's a bit weird to carry him because of our height difference, but I make it work. After a bit of walking we made it to the door. Penny was signing him in while I went to find a spot to sit that was somewhat away from people.

"Sheldon, I'm gonna have to sit next to me. I'm not leaving. Yes you can hold onto my sleeve." I say, sitting him down.

"Sheldon Cooper?" The nurse called out.

I could tell that he either wanted to run or cry. Penny was on his other side on her phone so it was up to me to keep him calm.

"Sheldon buddy, do you want me or Penny to go in with you?" I ask, rubbing his arm.

When he didn't respond after a few minutes, I picked him up and that was the cue that both of us were going in so Penny grabbed his coat and followed us in.

"So this must be Sheldon. It says here you are in for some bloodwork and a check up. Is that correct?" The nurse asked, not looking up at us.

Yes it is. I hear Penny say. I was too busy standing in front of Sheldon, who was trying to make a break for it.

"What would you like to do first?" The nurse asked Sheldon.

"Can we do the check up first then the bloodwork?" I asked.

"I asked Sheldon but yes we can"

I could tell that Sheldon was getting more nervous as the nurse went on about the check up. Penny was standing next to the door while I sat next to the bed Sheldon was on. After she was done with the check up, she told us she will be right back with the things she needs for the bloodwork.

"Sheldon, do you think you can sit still long enough for this or do you need someone to hold you still?" I ask.

"Could I sit on you like I did in the car?" Sheldon asked in a small voice.

"We could do that but you can't face me. She needs to be able to get to your arm." I say

"No!" Sholden shouted.

I could tell he was getting worked up and I really don't need him to panic again.

"It's okay. I need you to take some deep breaths for me. Just like what we did in the car. That's good, you're okay. How about this, Penny can sit in the chair and you sit on her while I'll stand in front of you. That way the nurse can do what she needs to do and you can still face me." I say

"Okay, I guess. Can we still go to the comic store?"

"Yes we can Sheldon. Penny, can you take Sheldon's spot? Okay good when he sits, you put your arms around him. Now I need you to sit on Penny's lap."

I take my spot in front of Sheldon while the nurse gets everything ready. She started to clean the spot that she was gonna use when I noticed that he was starting to panic.

"Penny, I need you to hold his arm still so the nurse can finish. If we were to wait till he was calm we would be here for a while. Sheldon, it's okay. Deep breaths for me." I say

I give the nurse the okay to keep going on. While that's going on, I squeeze his legs in between mine and try to keep him still with Penny's help. A few minutes later and we are done. Sheldon gets a bandaid and is slowly walking next to me.

The drive home wasn't hard, Sheldon was quiet for the whole thing. He didn't even want to go to the comic store.

"Sheldon, what's wrong? Don't try to tell me it's nothing. You didn't want to go to the comic store." I say

"I didn't like today." He says, walking out of his room with a blanket.

"Awh Sheldon buddy, do you want to cuddle for a while?" I ask, moving towards him.

He slowly shakes his head.

"Okay, Why don't you pick out a movie and I'll get you something to eat."

I made him some soup and joined him on the pile of blankets that were on the floor. The minute I sat down, Sheldon was right next to me. I wrap my arms around him, pulling him in close. I felt something cold and wet fall onto my hand, I look up and Sheldon is crying.

"Shh, buddy it's okay. What made you so upset?" I ask, while moving him in front of me.

"I don't know." He says, in between sniffies.

"That's okay. How about we lay down and just cuddle? Does that sound okay to you, and yes you can use my chest as a pillow." I say.

I didn't get a response as he was already laying down and asleep on my chest. For the rest of the night we stayed on the floor.

Bonus

I have been awake for a couple hours but haven't been able to move because Sheldon was still sleeping on my. After a few more minutes he started to wake up.

"Good morning buddy, did you sleep well?" I ask, trying not to laugh at his bed head.

"Sleepy." He mumbles out

"Do you want some coffee buddy?" I already know his response.

"Icky, I don't like the taste." Sheldon says, laying back down on me.

"Before you lay down I'm gonna make some coffee. You can sit on the couch and sleep some more if you want."

By the time I made my way back to my lovely boyfriend, he was somewhat asleep. I just moved his head out of his spot to sit and we spent the rest of the day watching movies or sleeping.

The end.
