"He's Coming He's Coming" yells a commoner boy from outside the window. "What in the world is he yelling about." Says young Jasmine Patricia, " don't worry about that JP, we have finish making this food for the community or else they may starve." Says auntie Julie, jp a young woman of tall curvaceous figure and skin of a shade darker than night itself. "Of course auntie, I know we have to take care of those with less than us." Says Jp, auntie Julie a rather short woman, stout in figure and a shade of copper. "I don't have much , but what I have I give of my community." -BOOM!!- Just then the doors of the small inn burst open, in walks a man of tall figure, short curly hair, and skin of brass. "Give me your best everything: stew, ale, and whatever else you can muster". Before he can step any further jp hops infront of him, "you will get what we have, and you will get in line with everyone else." A man steps in between these two, this man larger than the other and sporting a sheathed sword. "Young woman do you not know who you're speaking with." Says the man in an arrogant tone. "She does not, gentlemen please follow me this way." Says auntie Julie as she escorts the men and whispers to jp, " rush home I don't want you to get in trouble with these strange men."
-Later at JP's home. jp rushes up the stairs and she runs into her younger sister Camry. "Oh lord Jp you look like a commoner in those god awful clothes, hurry and get dressed you know father is bringing an important guest over." Says Camry, a girl of decent stature, fair skin, loose curls, and a slender shape. "Father is bringing him to marry one of you off, I'm the bastard these issues are none of my concern." Says jp, "no matter how true that is you still need to be dressed like a lord's bastard, not a commoner." Camry snarks back, " of course sister I would hate to disappoint father." Jp says sarcastically, " you can be very ungrateful for the bastard daughter , he could've let you grow up amongst the commoners" . Says Camry as she walks away, "He should've" jp says under her breath.
-hours later in JP's room. A girl approached, short in stature, wearing humble clothes , and skin as fair as day. "Oh lady jp let me help you with your dress, it seems your struggling to get in it." Says the woman, "oh suzie it's you, please come help and I keep telling you I'm the outside child you don't have to address me as lady." "Of course but if anyone is deserving of the title it's you, this gown is fit for a queen my lady." A gown made of purr silk, woven in ball gown shape and gold of color that shimmers and glimmers in the light. Just as jp is about to respond. "He's here girls get down here now!!" Yells a deep an powerful voice . "Camry, Bridget, Margaret, Cassidy, be dressed in meet in the foyer" Jp knew the voice if she knew no other, it was her father the lord count. A short man, who fought in the kings army, and rose the rank of lord. "Well the important man must be here." Says suzie. "You know what suzie I think you're right, haha" they both laugh and finish zipping up jp's gown.
-in the foyer, the doors to the estate open and in comes a man. "Lord count, it's so great to see you and these must be your daughters." As the girls stand in line, one by one before the lord could respond to the man he goes down the line of girls. "No, no, no, no is the best you have to offer for a wife." Says the man, "the four women are my daughters, and the four more requested women in the state." Says lord count, "yes they may be, but they are not requested by me lord count". Says the mysterious man, " Well I have one more daughter.." "absolutely not you will not bring that whore's bastard down here". Says the lady of the house, a short woman of olive skin, stout figure, and short but straight hair. "Well bring her out she can't be any worse than the rest of these women." Says the man, "well then, JP get down here young lady expeditiously." Jp rushes down, with suzie in tow just before she reaches the foyer she peeps around the corner. "Suzie I know this man and not for good reason", says jp. "Well my lady that's sad, but it's too late". Suzie pushes jp into the foyer and into the line sight of all present. "Oh this must be last daughter", says the mysterious man. "Jp do you know who this is", says her father. "Yes father, we had a small verbal disagreement earlier." Says jp with her face down, and in a low voice. "You did what?!? Jp this is prince Talon....
-earlier at the inn, "who is that girl, her countenance reminds me strikingly of my mother" says prince Talon. "She's my niece, and a very outspoken girl." Says auntie Julie in a dry tone. "I see the outspoken part, and she is rather beautiful." Talon says with a smirk, "she is a rare beauty that niece of mine". Says Aunt Julie, as she escorts Talon and his guard party to their seats. "Do you know who I am, kind old woman?" Talon questions as he sits down in his seat. " I don't, but any man with fine clothes, that many horses, and a guard has got to be a man that carries a great deal of importance." Says aunt Julie as she sits a bowl of stew and a cup of ale infront of Talon. " Sit with me old woman, and I'll tell you who I am." Auntie Julie agrees, and Takes a seat next to Talon. As they chat about everything from food, to politics aunt Julie grows curious, "so are you going to tell me who you are or not young important sir." "Oh yes since you've been so kind, I am young prince talon and I'm here to convene with Lord Count on taking one of his four daughters as a wife." Says talon with a smirk, and aunt Julie gasps. " you're the prince!!". "Indeed i am kind old woman." "Oh my, well I'm sorry any unfortunate hospitality you may have undergone while in the present of my humble inn". Says auntie Julie, in a low voice with her head bowed. "You're mother than fine Lady Julie, you've been nothing but gracious. Please continue to tell me more specifically on your niece." They continue chatting, and Julie tells the prince how JP is her niece through her mother's father and his last wish was for her to take care of his grand daughter. But the jp's father found out that his bastard child was in his state and ordered her to be brought to him. "So your niece's father must be of some importance." Says Talon, "he's something of something dear sir" says auntie Julie, talon laughs and begins leaving as he mounts his horse and gets ready to tramp off to Lord Count's estate he's stopped by auntie Julie. "The lord has more that four daughters, he has five." Talon turns his head in curiosity smirks, nods, and heads to the lords estate.
-Earlier in the Lord Count's Estate. "Girls please be dressed and prepared properly. I will have at least one of you married off by the end of night, and have any of you seen that bastard of a sister you all unfortunately share a bloodline with". Screams lady Count at her four daughters, " I saw her ealier but she was in peasant clothing, and smelt like a horse trough." Says Camry, "well she better not ruin this day for you all, I'll have her beheaded for it." "Mother stop making empty threats you know father won't let you harm his precious bastard daughter." Says Bridget, the second oldest a girl of a deep brown shade, and slender frame. "Yes, yes anyways you girls need to be....". Lady count is interrupted by lord count, "where are my beautiful girls dear wife, suzie please make sure they are all ready for the night." Says the lord, suzie responds and adheres to make sure all the girls are ready. Hours later the father shouts "He's here Camry, Bridget, Margaret, Cassidy, be dressed and meet in the foyer."
-Back in the Foyer "he's a prince?!? That explains the entitlement." Jp says under her breath, "you'll do best to watch the bad foul mouth of yours girl, it'll get you in trouble which you can not return" the lady count snarls. "Of course lady count, I apologize for my temper and rudeness dear prince." Jp says in a low voice, and curtsy. "All is well lady Jp, let all dine and We can discuss which one of you're fine daughters I'll pick." Says the prince with a smirk, "but young prince you stated earlier that you weren't interested in my four daughters." Says Lord Count, "indeed I did, but that was to ensure you weren't hiding any gems from me lord." They both laugh, and everyone head to the table for supper. As everyone is being seated, the prince objects to his current arrangement and asks to be seated by Jp. After being seated, the prince says "such a fine dinner thats being served. Can any of your daughters cook a feast like this? After all a woman's place is in the home especially the kitchen." All of the girls giggle except JP, who says " a woman's place is wherever she pleases, and is best suit." Everyone gasps except the prince, and Lady count immediately responds " you would be best to watch your mother girl before your place be in the stomach of the hou...". Interrupted by talon, "let the young Lady speak I want to hear what she has to say." "I have nothing further to say I would hate to embarrass my house that is not a home." Says jp in a sarcastic tone. Talon laughs, and they continue the supper with little whispers and the clatter of eating utensils. After a brief time has passed the lord count speaks, "well prince talon tell us which daughter will you be taking for a bride?" The room gets deadly silent, talon takes a deep breath and stands. "Ah yes out of your FIVE beautiful daughters, I will be taking.....
