To my dearest Emma,
I've written down the plan below

Norman was dead. All that was left from him to his beloved family, was a well thought plan and every single spark of hope he had. He believed that everyone would succed, that they wouldn't waste the opportunity that was offered to them thanks to his death. He gave a detailed description and explanation of his plan, in a letter to Emma. She was a smart and kind girl, but above all, Emma's determination, bravery and love for her family, was enough to guarantee the succes of the escape.

Ray will try to kill himself. He's been preparing this since he knew the true behind The House. He will burn the place down, with him inside, so Isabella will go after him and assure everyone will get to the wall. Norman discovered this, and came up with a plan to make sure that everyone will survive, him being the only one lost.

Norman was dead, Emma received the letter, and Ray didn't know about the new plan. Not because he would't understand it, but because this wasn't just about escaping; this was revenge. Even if given the option to survive, he would most likely reject it. Just as Norman rejected living, for the sake of his family. Ironic, isn't it? The one who wanted to live will die, and the one who wanted to die will live. That is, if everything goes just as planned.

Ray and Emma were depressed, defeated, they had given up on their escape. That's what everyone could see. That's what Mother could see. But they never did. How could they, after their best friend gave up his life for them? Everyone saw what they were suppoused to. Even then, Isabella kept a close look on them. Leaving a blind spot, for all the other children to use, to continue with the preparations, and escape this hell of a place.

Today, January 14th. A day before Ray's birthday*, a day before he turns twelve, and gets shipped out for his brain to be eaten by awful demons. Today, at midnight, Ray will be at the dining room, with the oil and matches, and a book with the photos he took of all his family, waiting for the moment where everythings burns. Today, even if they haven't talked since Norman's shipment, Emma and Ray will both meet at the dining room, and clear up everything about the escape.

The moment finally arrives. January 15th. Happy birthday, Ray.
