STORY BEHIND THIS DRAWING
One day, I was just sitting using my laptop when suddenly, I remembered that I have a drawing competition the next day.
I was panicking because I had never drawn anything in my school. I used to draw at home but I never showed or told anyone about my drawings. So, in short I had no confidence in my drawing or drawing skills.
"I am dead." This is what I was saying all the time to myself.
So, I will tell you guys the rules of that drawing competition.
There was only one rule, "Use your own imagination to draw anything you want to"
There was one more rule which was not actually a rule but a command and that is "Every single student has to participate in it... willingly or not".
So, I knew that I can't use Google to practice drawing something nor I can leave this competition. So, I called a friend who was a great artist. She told me that I should go out somewhere and try to get inspired by the nature... and I did so. I went out and started looking here and there and it didn't help at all... maybe because I was panicking a lot.
The next day, I went to my school. I was damn nervous. I got a paper in my hand and I was like "What should I draw?" I closed my eyes for a minute or two and started drawing whatever came to my mind. And at last, I ended up drawing this. And for this drawing, I even got a prize.
I was damn happy.
On that day, I got confidence in my drawing skills. But FYI, I was always a confident girl who was an introvert. I didn't like to show my skills. But on that day, I got to understand that I am good at drawing and I should improve... a lot.
