"I told you he was following you!" Stacey said. She was so enthusiastic about it. What is so special with him following me? It was basically kind of nothing.
"Can't you stop?! Marinig ka ng fans n'yan baka kung ano pa sabihin ng tao." Masungit kong sabi. The last thing I wanted to worry about is his fans going crazy over him following me. So what if he is?
"Why is he following you?" Stacey asked. The honest answer is I don't know.
"I don't know." I said. Maybe because we met each other yesterday and that he follows everyone he meets.
"Alam mo bang hindi daw 'yan pala kaibigan ng babae!" She said. Him following me doesn't mean we're friends. I also didn't care on what type of person he is. I didn't know him, I just knew that I met him yesterday but other than his name and that he was the team captain of DLSU, I knew nothing else. "What are you thinking about? Follow him back!" Pangungulit ni Stacey.
I turned my phone off and went to class. Yes, I didn't followed him back. Why would I? My account wasn't private that's why he got to follow me, but that doesn't mean I'll follow him back. We weren't even close!
Friday came and yes I still didn't followed him back. Stacey kept bugging me to follow him back. Hindi ko alam, should I? I was also kind of curious why he followed me, I'm not even that interesting. We didn't have classes today so diretso kami sa game ng La Salle. They were up against UP.
I got ready at home. We didn't have classes today the reason why I went home yesterday. For sure pahirapan ang parking do'n so it's really better not to bring a car. I just wore a white fitted top with beige loose trousers then a pair of white high cut Converse.
"Anak, where are you going?" My mom asked as she saw me going down. Hindi pala ako nagpaalam kagabi, I wasn't that used to asking for their permission ever since college. Maybe because I was always staying at my condo.
"Oh, I'm going to watch kuya Gavin's game po." I said. Ever since I got into college and started staying sa dorm, me and mom hasn't talk that much yet. I felt like I was so far from her now. Before, she was the only person I went to. I guess we became busy with our own things.
"Uy! May extra tickets ka pa ate? Sama naman ako!" Singit ng kapatid ko when he heard our conversation.
"I don't. Dalawa lang binigay ni kuya Gavin. Next time nalang." I told my brother. Hindi ko naman alam na gusto niya rin manood, tatlo lang naman minsan nakukuhang ticket ni kuya Gavin, he has a guest pa ata later.
"Okay, next time ah? Ingat ate!" Carlos said before going back to his room. It was weird he was sweet. What happened to my brother?
"Since when did you start watching basketball again?" Again. Yes, I used to watch basketball. I was even like Stacey. But everything changed. I stopped, but kuya Gavin kept bugging me to watch their games. Over and over again!
I guess he didn't want me to change. But what can I do? I wanted to keep that phase in the past.
