A/N this is my first try at writing a book so please help me if i get things wrong. My grammar and punctuation is horrible so please point out any mistakes so i can fix it later thanks and i hope you survive the first chapter...
Sophies P.O.V
BEEP... BEEP... BEEP. Ughhh, I groaned as i clambered out of bed to read my imparter:
Sophie,
I've had an idea. i think we should have a sleepover at Everglen. message me back when you get this.
Biana
Of course, always with the sleepovers i though suspiciously as i typed back:
Biana,
Why? this is like the 500th time this century. You do know that i have a house and i don't need to be living at Everglen 24/7
Sophie
it took about 20 minutes for her to reply with:
Sophie,
I know, but it is the last day of term and I have a good feeling about this one *wink, wink* and before you say no, Fitz will be there... have a think and tell me at school.
Biana
Wow. that girl really likes her sleepovers. although with that being said i saw makeovers in my very near future. but if Fitz was going to be there, those makeovers... no, push that thought out of your head Sophie, i told myself as those fluttery feelings in my stomach started to rise. Why would Fitz like a boring, nervous, nobody like me? it didn't help that basically everyone thinks my eyes are ugly. i walked over to Vertina to help sort out my hair for the last day of school. she gave me some tips and tricks and eventually i had my hair in a braided updo and was wearing a white dress with my cape pinned on using my Ruewen crest pin.

As i walked down for breakfast Edaline came rushing up the stairs "SOPHIE! SOPHIE!" she screamed "you're going to be late for school! you have no idea how long you slept in for". My eyes widened at the thought of being late on the last day. "oh no!" I said with a worried tone. "here eat some leftover starkflower stew" Edaline was rushing to get Me to the leap master 500(Do they have leftovers on the Elvin world?). "Sorry Mum, I guess i was too busy trying to look good for fit-" crap I almost gave away my secret. I quickly slurped up the last of my stew and bolted to the leapmaster and said Foxfire panting to get my words out.
Edaline's P.O.V (during the above scene)
"SOPHIE! SOPHIE!" I yelled It was already 8:55 and school started at 9:00. Sophie looked so worried. i handed her some starkflower stew and she slurped it up quickly. "Sorry mum" she said " I guess i was too busy trying to look good for fit-". that oblivious girl she thinks no one can tell she likes Fitz Vacker, that being said he cant tell and he also thinks no one knows about his little... well HUGE crush on my daughter. "Foxfire" Sophie panted and the leapmaster took her away to school.
Sophie's P.O.V
As i leaped into the school grounds the class bell rang. lucky my first class was with Biana so i could tell her i would come to the sleepover. I ran pushing all the power to my legs and arrived to class just in time. I went in and sat next to Biana, "I will come to the sleepover" i whispered to her. "Good" she replied "was it Fitz that made you want to come??". I glared at her i was starting to regret telling her I would come.
Finally the end of class came and i could go to the cafeteria and eat. as i walked into the cafeteria i was almost at our table when someone dropped small glass spheres all over the floor. I took one step and tripped, to be then caught by a pair of strong arms. "the trick is to slide your feet that way none get underneath you" a crisp accented voice told me. i looked up into those teal eyes and i got that weird fluttering feeling again.
Fitz is so- i paused in my thoughts
So what? his voice filled my head
Uhhh s-so u-umm, so strong?
haha! thanks. what were you so nervous about
n-nothing... I trailed off
hey are you coming to the big sleep over tonight?
yeah. how long will it last
who knows with Biana You can never tell
you know we should catch up some time during it. you know we can use my room. get comfy...
uh *nervous laughter*
...and practise cognate exercises!
o-oh right
By now his face was so close to mine i could feel his breathing on my cheek. his eyes met mine and we stayed there for a while. then i noticed how quiet the cafeteria was. i looked up and all eyes were on us. i couldn't figure out wh- oh crap we're standing so close, then i heard somebody clear their throat
"GET A ROOOOOM!" the familiar voice of Keefe Sencen filled the room and we quickly backed away from each other and went and sat down. the liveliness of the cafeteria was soon restored, then 5 minutes later Magnate Leto informed us "All students please report to your next classes. except for these students - Fitz Vacker and Sophie Foster-Ruewen, please report to Sir Teirgan's office for an all day cognate training session"
