There's one week left for graduation, I submit my thesis but haven't heard anything from my professor. Somehow, I just keep thinking that it isn't that bad. I have pull up day and night to complete my assignment, clicked submit. Later, helped Piku with her topics. She heard back in two days and I still did not. I am nervous. I called administrative to ask if they didn't get or it went in spam, no response. I am twisting my fingers and praying that nothing wrong happens.
I can stress enough, what's done is done. I should enjoy a bit. For the first time in months I have a house to myself, lucky for me Jay's semester started early. I can décor the house since he's not around more. Step by step I can bring my Pinterest photo board to reality. That's' amazing, I thought to myself and start looking for ideas, there are so many creative pins. I can't wait to get started.
I texted Piku about my décor idea and share some pins to get her opinion. She texted me back with fifteen different pins and they all looked amazing, three hours went by and I still haven't decided which one to select. I put my phone on charge and left house to give my brain steady thought.
I wandered around streets to find way to mall, it reminds me how much I am depended on maps. I have learnt way to college and home by heart but local stores and way, I have no idea. I rushed to clothing section as I walked into mall. I have many clothes but I guess one more won't hurt. I need graduation dress which I guess makes two new dress to buy. I picked blue-white floral dress because It give me cottage vibes and for graduation I picked A-line chiffon green dress. I paid for it and straightly went to décor store, I might have waste time looking for ideas but how dumb of me to not visit store and waste more time.
The décor store looked not so décor from outside. Let's not judge a book by its cover I said I said it to myself and entered inside. The lady at the cash counter smiled welcome and I smiled back. I look around I was wrong; the store has awesome stuff and at affordable prices. I start to picking one thing and followed to whole basket. It looks I purchased enough for now, just one handy toolbox and I will "leave. Surprisingly, they were out of toolbox. The lady told me that she can call other store and get toolbox in five minutes, I nodded. She called the store and billed the products. I paid for it and sat on the lounge.
"That's so many goods. You need help to take home, we provide free delivery."
"No, it's fine."
"Hope you come again."
"I will. Your store is great."
She smiled saying, "Thank you."
She smiles a lot. That reminds me of the Micah guy, maybe I should call him Aron.
"Did I say something? You look lost."
"No, it's nothing. Your smile just reminded me of my friend Aron."
"Ha! That's funny. I have a son name Aron. I just called him to bring tool box."
"What a coincidence." I giggled.
"He is taking long time than expected. I am sorry about that. I will call him to ask if there's any issue. Would you like tea or coffee?"
"I am fine."
"No, please! I insist."
"Okay then. Coffee is fine."
"Great." She said and poured me hot coffee and me two plushie saying it's from the store for misconceive and apologize again.
I feel bad when she apologizes, it's okay that happens. That's not her fault. Also, why is that guy is taking so long. The lady said the store is nearby. I would really like my phone right now with me. Oh god!!! Oh god!!! My phone must have charged, I thought I would be back home soon that's why I plugged in and left the house. I have to leave right now.
"Ma'am, can I come tomorrow and collect the tool box. I will pay for it now. There's issue at my house, I need to leave right now. I felt my phone on charger and I am afraid it might be overly charge. I am worried it doesn't blast." That's most embarrassing thing I have said to anyone.
"I am so sorry, I kept you waiting. Please you don't have to pay in advance."
"Ma'am please, I would like to."
"That's fine it -..."
"Sorry Mama I am late. There was accident down street. Here's the tool box." He said while catching breathe. Handing tool box to her. He wore a mask but I can see his pupil expand as he looked at me, like there are five ghosts behind me.
"You made it on time. I am glad." She said scanning barcode on the tool box, putting it in bag.
"There you go. Thank you for being waiting patiently. Hope you visit soon." She smiled again.
"Thank you, ma'am. How much is it?"
"You're embarrassing me now. It's on me to keep you wait." She is so polite but I can't take this stuff for free.
"You already gave me free stuff. I can't accept this too. Please, let me pay."
"It's okay. You should rush home now; you left your phone in charging. Aron take her to home right now."
"It's fine. I can go by myself."
"He has a bike. You will reach Sonner." She eyed him to help me and he was just there standing dumb.
"Yes, I can help." He just said taking bags.
"Thank you so much ma'am." I said and left the store following his son to the parking lot.
He kept staring me, which was weird. How come this sweet lady has this weird son. If he came on bike and why he came to store like he ran till here?
He puts all bag into one big dumble sling bag and wear it around neck. Hanging toolbox on side hook.
"I can carry those." I said trying to take bag away so he won't hurt his neck. He refused looks away handing me helmet.
"Wear this please and sit comfortably." He says in weird voice like he is mimicking someone because this was not his voice when he entered store.
I wore helmet and hop on.
"Sit tight. I am starting, okay?" His weird voice.
"Okay." I said and gave him directions to home.
He drove safe and slowly, kept asking me if I am okay. I just nod and say 'yes'. He is like his mother, so polite.
As we reached home, I handed him the helmet and tried to take tool box yet he refuses.
"let me take this to your door."
"Okay." It would be long conversation to convince him.
"RASSSSSHHHHIIIIIIIII." I heard my name yelled out.
"RASSSSHHIIII UNLOCK THE DOOR!!!" Jay was leaning on pillar.
I ran to him and unlock the door. Jay quickly ran inside.
