15. Revelation

Cassie's 1st Person POV

"So, you and that guy, Yoongi, fucked on your bed AND on your bathroom counter?!" Penelope gasps. We are sitting on opposite sides of the sectional couch in our living room.

It's Saturday and it's already noon. I had just woken up a half hour ago and decided to join Penelope in the living room. I don't normally sleep in this late but Yoongi didn't leave until two in the morning. And, I needed my rest after his visit.

"We sure did," I utter out then take a sip of my coffee out of my favorite mug that has Nicolas Cage's face on it.* It was a hilarious gag gift that Jeongguk had given me three Christmases ago and I cherish it.

"Babe, I'm glad you're getting some action!" She says while giving me a smirk. She puts her iPad down, taking a break from a fun sketch she was working on.

"He definitely delivered," I say out loud then bite my lower lip, remembering how he made me feel last night.

"Oh, I bet! I still need to meet this guy!" She looks at me with an interested expression on her face.

"He did mention wanting to get together again." I tell her and shrug.

"Damn, girl! You already have him hooked?!" She gives me an impressed smile.

"Our chemistry in bed is pretty fucking good, I'm not going to lie. But, it's nothing serious." I think out loud to my best girl.

"That's fine! Nothing wrong with wanting no-commitment sex." She voices out to me.

"That's true, I guess." I nod at her words, but I'm not even sure I believe myself when I say it's nothing serious.

"What do you mean 'you guess'?" She looks at me, questioningly.

"I don't know, Penny. After hanging out with Yoongi a lot and getting to know him, I started growing this attraction to him. We have a lot in common and..." I trail off.

"No way! You totally have a thing for Yoongi, don't you?! I can tell by your face!" Of course my best friend can read through me.

"Yes...I guess. But, I don't think he's looking for anything. And, I'm still not ready." I honestly explain to her.

"Then, just go with the flow."  She suggests as she picks up her iPad and studies the drawing she's working on.

"I guess I can do that." I answer her. I mean, I can let whatever is going on with me and Yoongi naturally unfold.

"Seriously! Just enjoy what he can give you." She looks up to wiggle her eyebrows at me then goes back to adding to her drawing.

Buzz buzz buzz

My phone vibrates on the coffee table. So, I lean forward to set my coffee mug down and pick up my phone. I see a text from Jeongguk and open it up.

Kook:
Hey, you free tonight?! It's Dami's birthday and a bunch of us are thinking of heading to a bar or a club to celebrate after we close down the shop. You should join us!

"Hey, Penny, would you want to go out? Jeongguk said that he and a bunch of his coworkers, at the tattoo shop, are going out to celebrate the shop manager's birthday. You can meet Yoongi."
