It is the summer holidays and me and Hazel are going to my house, Fallingford. I have invited George and Alexander to come as well because Hazel insisted that I invite them. I didn't want to really. I just wanted it to be me and my Watson. But, although I hate to admit it, I do miss them a bit.
I don't think we will come across anything to investigate but I will keep my eyes peeled for anything suspicious. We just solved another murder at Deepdean, the murder of Mrs Rivers or - as me and Hazel like to call it - the Anniversary Murder. It was a very interesting case. Can you believe there was a new girl who stole my fame?! Her name was Amina El Maghrabi and I hate her but for some odd reason I can't stop thinking about her. Maybe it's just my brain processing everything that happened. Yeah, that's what it is. Nothing else.
Uncle Felix's car was pulled up outside. Uncle Felix and Aunt Lucy must be here! I thought. And I was right.
Me and Hazel grabbed our stuff and went inside. Uncle Felix and Aunt Lucy were talking to my father then as soon as they heard us they turned around. "Daughter and her friend! Welcome back!" Father boomed across the hall. He then turned to Chapman and told him to take our stuff up to the Nursery.
"Inspector Priestley told us everything that happened. I am disappointed in the both of you." said Uncle Felix. Not even a hello! How rude! "In our defense he allowed us to investigate!" I retorted and Hazel nodded in agreement. "C'mon Hazel, let's go to our room." And off we went, without another word to the others.
(A/N - Sorry this was a bit short. I didn't really know what to put here. Also, who's POV do you think it should be in next chapter?)
