Ciel stared emotionlessly out his bedroom window. Out at the black night sky. Stars sparkling. The moon clear and bright. Reflecting on Ciel's beautiful blue eye. "Young Master? What are you doing awake at this hour?" Ciel turned his head towards the perfect butler, covered in black. Like the pretty night sky. "I can't sleep." Ciel replied. The butler snickered. "Would you like me to sing you a lullaby?" Sebastian waited for a annoyed reply from Ciel about the fact he was not a little child anymore. But instead Ciel walked back into his bed with a cold, hard: "No."
Sebastian made a disappointed look. But he expected it since his master has been acting strange since the time he danced with him at Lizzies Easter party (Which was five months ago).
Sebastian could not hold it in anymore since it's starting to interfere with his duties as a butler. "Young Master is it alright if I ask a personal question?" Sebastian asked reluctantly. Ciel paused for a moment. "Yes."
Sebastian walked and stood beside his master. "Are you having trouble with something lately? You have not been yourself for a while." Sebastian asked with sad, reassuring eyes. Ciel layed in his bed quietly, unsure what would happen if he said yes or no. Ciel sat up. "Yes, there has..." Ciel said very quietly that no human, even with good hearing would have been able to hear. But with Sebastian's very advanced hearing no matter how quiet some of Ciel's answers were he could hear them. Sebastian understood that, the thing that's bothering Ciel is a big deal since he could keep this quiet for so long without Sebastian figuring it out. "There is no need to be afraid to tell me your problems Young Master. I will always be hear to listen. I will not abandon you." Sebastian said in his softest voice. Much to Sebastian's surprise Ciel started crying. He never saw his Master cry. Sebastian caressed his Masters cheek and wiped a tear away. "I'm... scared Sebastian..." Ciel said through hiccups. Ciel covered his face with his hands and cried harder. Sebastian felt sorry for Ciel and hugged him. Ciel's eye widened. He never thought Sebastian would hug him. He thought the demon saw it as weak and would suddenly steal his soul, abandoning the contract. Ciel hugged Sebastian back tightly. Feeling the happiest he's ever felt in years. His tears turned into tears of happiness and just as it couldn't get any better Ciel blurted out: "I love you..." Sebastian's eyes widened. His eyes suddenly teared up and the first real tears flowed down his cheeks. Sebastian was stoked. Not only does his dear master love him but he cried for the first time. He always felt jealous and inhuman when someone else and especially when another demon genuinely cried. Sebastian quietly cried out enough for Ciel to hear: "I love you too..." Before he started wailing on Ciel's shoulder and cried like there was no tomorrow. After minutes of Sebastian crying and Ciel smiling warmly, patting and rubbing his back like he was calming a baby, Sebastian lifted his head from Ciel's now saturated shoulder and wiped his tears away feeling embarrassed. "I'm such a disgrace as a butler, being a crying burden on my master is unforgivable." Sebastian said full of shame as he wiped away more tears. Ciel put his hands on his butlers face and looked deeply in Sebastian dark red eyes. Then he smiled. "It's okay to cry." He said and then gave his butler a light passionate kiss.
