Soon to be Weasley

Arrival

  I woke up and immediately went to the mail. I had packed my things and today was the day I was finally allowed to go to school in person again. I've caught up on all the lessons and school work, thanks to my moms old friend at Hogwarts. My mom and (real) dad passed away before I was born, and so I was adopted by a man named Charles Mutten, I guess because my aunt and uncle didn't want me. I went downstairs and got the mail, my letter had been in there for a bit, I was so excited. I ran to get my stuff and put it by the door. I yelled for my dad and he came in a few seconds later. He completely forgot he was supposed to take me to the train stop.. of course he did. I reminded him about it and he just shrugged and said, "maybe next time." He was like that ever since I went there. He grew more lazy and stressed over time. I couldn't believe I had to wait another day before I could go to school, since I know he won't take me now.

  I got up the next morning, earlier this time so I can remind him before it's to late. He was already out of bed and dressed. He went to the door and told me to hurry up because the train would leave soon. I ran and got ready and grabbed my bags of course, it was finally the day. A little bit later we got to the train stop and he kissed me on the cheek and told me goodbye for what felt like 1 million times. I got on the train and it was pretty empty, everyone was already at Hogwarts. I sat in an empty carriage and got settled in. I put a blanket over me and because I was alone, fell asleep on the "couch". I woke up to a loud train noise and a big stop. I hurried and got all my things and was greeted by a giant looking man with a big beard and an.. umbrella?

  The man walked me to this lake where he rowed a boat all the way to a gorgeous castle. I knew right there what it was. Hogwarts. On our way there he talked to me about all kinds of things, the professors, classes, and even the students.  No one started classes until today and I would be excused since I don't have a schedule and I could just relax all day. He even knew my mom and dad somehow, said they were one of the best at this school, when they attended obviously. They were both sorted into Gryffindor and so of course, I wanted to do the same. He said my mom and dad got killed by you know who. I didn't know who that was though because my, now,  dad is a muggle. I couldn't wait to see how amazing this castle was on the inside, because I'm loving this place before I even went inside.
