My head slipped off my arm and I woke up, then realized that I'm in the middle of a meeting. Didn't realize that I'd be so tired, it was only two hours past my bedtime. "I'm sorry Namjoon." I rubbed my eyes and shook my head to get myself in the right headspace. "Maybe you should prioritize your sleep over going out to clubs next time." Kim Namjoon, I love that guy but he didn't have to call me out like that. Tch.

"Now focus, Manoban" Mina whispered under her breath and tried not to laugh. I gave her a petty look and turned my head back to focusing.

"She'll be arriving and will be working with us next Monday, she is a very skilled lady and a professional shooter."

"Despite being a professional being ranked a five-star assassin, I'll be assigning a partner to her so that she gets her way around the building, also that she gets a friend."

"Liam, you'll be her partner."

Wait what now.

"You'll be showing her around and she will be going on missions with you, you two will be working together."

I sat up straight and looked at him. "Hold on, why am I the one who's working with the new girl, I'm a five-star too and I shouldn't be working with partners." Never in my 2 years of working as an assassin have, I had a partner by my side and I don't need one now. "Since you are one of the best here Liam, it is reasonable for me to pair you two together your skills will match up to hers. Plus, they requested to have a skilled partner." Namjoon said while he flips through his notes and gave me a small smile.

"This is unbelievable! I shouldn't be working with a partner, if she is that good then she can handle things herself and won't need my help with anything." I rolled my eyes while walking out of the meeting room. "You'll get used to it, Liam," Jungkook said while being dragged by his partner. "You better hurry up, I want to get k-bbq after our missions!" Taehyung dragged Jungkook out of the building so fast I couldn't even say anything back.

I sighed. "Cmon Liam cheer up, I'm sure she'll be off your back after a bit of partnering up." Tzuyu pat my back and laughed. "Just look at those two, how am I supposed to focus on my missions when I have someone else disturbing my peace," I said in defeat while pointing at Taehyung who is still dragging Jungkook out of the building. "Well Liam, I'm sure your partner won't be as hungry as Tae is." Tzuyu got her coffee and walked to the lift with me. "Stop complaining so much, who knows you might grow attached to her and become best friends!" She said all giddy and smiley. I raised an eyebrow at her. Weirdo.

I was driving down the streets trying to find my first target of the day. While focusing on the road I glance down at my files. "Jae Seo-Hyeon, 35" I pulled up to the house, and after making sure it was the right address I loaded my pistol and fixed my tie hopped off my car then rang the doorbell.

Ding Dong

After a bit of waiting, the door opened. "May I help you?" The man looked up at me and questioned. "Jae Seo-Hyeon, I'm from the Park Labels and we're here to collect the 600K won you owe to us," I said with a straight face. "Tch, I don't owe anyone any money, you scammer." He brushed it off and tried to close the door on me. I held his door open and looked at him firmly with my files in hand. "We have your details here, your name, your address, your email, and your phone number." He inspected the paper and realized that he's in trouble as he tried to run from the door. I quickly put the files away and chased him with my pistol. "Sir, you need to pay us back right now or there will be consequences!" He tried throwing things at me to slow me down but that didn't work at all. Obviously. "Stop moving!" I shot the ground and he froze immediately. He turned and looked at me. "Pay up!" I pointed the gun at him. "I can't!" He yelled and I shot. The bullet went right through his head. He fell face-first to the ground with his eyes wide open. I stared at his bloody head for a while and left. "On to the next guy!" I said while smiling.
