I walk around here pretending that I am happy.
But I am sitting back day by day watching people
Walking in and out of my life I wonder sometimes who am I?
That is the million dollar question: who am I why am I here.
Is it to please everyone else?
Do I really have time for drama especially if I am in the middle of it?
Everywhere I turn my name is always in someone's mouth.
Now it is my turn to speak my truth and let everyone know who I am.
I am a strong black women
Who speaks her mind.
I am smart
Who puts her mind to anything she wants too.
I am proud
Who says that she is proud of herself for the person she has come to be.
I am confident
Who say that she is confident in who she is.
I am a leader
Who stands up to bullies when other people can not stand up for themselves.
These are just a few things that define who I am
Now it is your turn to find who you are.
