"She lapped against the shore, restless like the sea. Ready for an adventure that blew along her way."
"You sure are poetic." She sat on the bench and commented.
The book in my hand closed as I looked up and stared at her, "Learnt from you."
"Sure thing Taehyung." She flipped her hair but ended up laughing hard.

"The universe is trying to break me, I dunno, my parents are fighting, I don't what the hell am I feeling now, the light of my future is flickering," I took a deep breath, "I suppose, it's easier to hide then say."
"My mom and dad keep fighting over the silliest things. Had it been a decade ago, they were the sweetest lovebirds ever. I guess, everything has an expiry date, even love." I continued sighing.
"They're so immersed in ignoring each other and giving each other dirty glances, that they even forgot me. I can't blame them, because it's partly my fault. Maybe I was the curse that drifted them apart. Maybe the heavy responsibility of a child caused a heavy blow to their relationship. I am the cause." I added trying to bite back tears. Some memories are worth forgetting but this is taking more and more of my mind.
Destroying me from the inside.
"I know." She whispered.
"What?"
"Nothing! So as I was saying, he universe is not trying to break you neither you're the cause of their hatred, my dear, it's trying to find a way to wake you up so that you'll see what is real, and worth fighting for." She just said those casual things while eating if it didn't matter to her much.
As if she's already happy.
Happy enough to make me smile.
"It takes time to heal, but it also takes courage." She patted my shoulder and left the table to keep the dishes away.
But she didn't realise that how much it affected me.
