Here I can dream
Here I can get away
Lay in my bed
Daydreaming inside my head
To wait till it gets better
I'll stay here forever
Till the pain goes away
Anything to keep feelings at bay
My life is complacent
My life is stagnant
And it moves so slow
Yet it slips my hands as it goes
Life is grueling
Constantly pulling
Draining
The world is cruel
The world is unfair
It just does not care
