Ch. 16 "Meeting"

                                                            Jamie POV 

My heavy eyelids slowly flutter open, I realized that I fell asleep in James's room. I sit up slowly rubbing my eyes. 

James wasn't anywhere to be found though. 

I slowly sit on the side of the bed. 

As I was getting out of bed the door opened. Steve walked in. 

"Your awake." He said smiling 

I smiled back at him. 

"Yeah." I said I looked around 

"Where's James?" I asked 

"Don't worry he's just in a meeting, he won't be long." Steve said walking over to me. 

"Why don't you get dressed and we can go for a walk around Brooklyn." He said 

I smiled big. 

"Okay." I said rushing out of the room back to mine to get changed 

After getting dressed in a grey shirt and overalls and my grey shoes. I brushed the knots out of my hair and brushed my teeth. 

I rushed out the room about to meet Steve when suddenly I was picked up from behind. 

"Whoa there Mini Barnes where's the fire?" I hear Tony's voice 

"I'm going to meet Steve and were going to go for a walk around Brooklyn." I said as I giggled 

"Oh are you?" He said chuckling 

"Yeah." I said smiling he set me down on my feet

I turned around and looked at Tony. 

"Just don't let the old man wear off on you. your way too much fun." Tony said ruffling my hair 

I giggled 

"Who are you calling old man?" Steve said walking over to us. 

"You boy scout now you two have fun you hear." Tony said walking away

Steve was standing next to me. 

"Boy Scout?" I asked looking up at him. 

"It's a long story." Steve said 

"Come on." He said holding out his hand and I took it

                                                       Bucky POV 

"She needs to be investigated!" Fury said 

We were all having a meeting about what Jamie told me and Steve. I had Steve leave and distract Jamie while this was going on. this felt more like a council meeting. And to tell you the truth this was pissing me off more and more.

"Are you insane? She's just a kid!" Nat shouted 

"She could be a spy!" Fury said 

"Yeah sure a spy. She's the sweetest thing." Clint said 

"It could be an act." Fury said 

"She didn't know they erased her memories." Wanda said 

"Something needs to be done!" Fury said 

"And what do you suggest!" Thor said 

"I interrogate her." Fury said 

"Absolutely not!" I said slamming my fist on the table 

"We need to know what she knows and what all she did!" Fury said 

"It wasn't her fault" Pietro said 

"That's up for me to decide." Fury said 

"Actually no it's not." Tony said walking in

"Nice of you to Join us Stark." Fury said 

"You see I just seen the little ball of sunshine. and to tell you the truth she's completely harmless. sure HYDRA did what they did but she seems fine to me now." Tony said sitting at the table 

"And I don't know about you but it's not going to look good on you sticking a small child in a interrogation room so you can give her the third degree." Tony said 

"And I don't think Barnes over there will let you within five meters of the ball of sunshine." Tony said pointing over at me. 

I crossed my arms and nodded 

"So what do you suggest?" Fury said 

                                                       Jamie POV 

After walking so long me and Steve took a break we were sitting on a bench enjoying so yummy ice cream. 

Do I love ice cream I mean who doesn't, 

Steve's phone rang. 

"Okay we won't be long. bye." Steve said 

"Looks like your big brother is getting worried." Steve said smiling down at me. 

"When isn't he." I said giggling 

He chuckled 

He picked me up putting me on his shoulders. you see Steve and I have the big brother little sister relationship as well. I mean he's been around since I was born so can you blame us. 

"Now lets get back to the tower before your brother has a heart attack." He said 

"Let's" I said as I giggled 

I just loved spending time with Steve, he can be funny and fun. I thought as I smiled
