Once we were in our room, we started to unpack. I took out the photo of Daisy, George, Alexander and I. "When do you think George and Alexander will come? Do you think they will come soon?" I asked. Daisy scoffed and replied, "Alexander! You're always thinking about him! But I do hope they come soon." I put the photo on my nightstand along with my case book and letters from Alexander and continued to unpack.
"You know, it was really nice of Amina to invite us to her home over the summer. Why can't you be nicer to her?" I said to Daisy and, if I'm not mistaken, I saw Daisy blush at the mention of Amina for a split second. Is it possible that... no, Daisy hates her sure, there's no way. "She was probably just trying to get us to think she's all nice and sweet and put us under the spell that she has the rest of the school under!" Daisy snapped back. I sighed and looked at her. "Why do you hate her? She hasn't done anything bad to you." "Yes she did! She stole my fame! Now everyone's running after her! Now can we please stop talking about her?"
We sat in silence for a minute or so but then we heard a car pull up outside. "That must be Alexander and George!" I exclaimed running up to the window. "Are you sure it is?" Daisy enquired as she walked up beside me. The car door opened and out stepped George. "Told you it was them." I said and Daisy huffed.
George started looking up at the house. At one point it felt like he looked directly at us and grinned. He then stuck his head back in the car and came out again with a smirk on his face. Alexander then came out on the other side and Daisy nudged me. I felt myself blush a little. George said something to him and pointed up at us. Alexander saw us and waved with a huge grin on his face. It was so good to see them again even though we only saw each other at around Easter and we had been writing letters to each other. Well, Alexander and I were the ones writing the letters. I only noticed Daisy was standing at the door when she said, "Come on Watson! Or do you want to stand there and daydream about Alexander?". I immediately followed her. Did she really have to say that?
We ran down the stairs, careful not to fall. I was so excited to see them! When we were in the hall we saw George and Alexander talking to Aunt Lucy and Uncle Felix. "Ah, there are the girls now." Uncle Felix said, turning to us.
(A/N - @Moon_Daemon suggested that this should be in Hazel's POV so credits to them)
