CHAPTER TWO

"What is it?" Lia was already expecting what was going to come next.

" Please forgive me, but I'm pregnant and it's jack's" Lia pretended to be shocked.

"Which jack, is there another jack I don't know about?"

"Your boyfriend," Mabel said with a straight face.

"Please Forgive me and him but I love him and I will do anything just to be with him," Mabel said while forcing out crocodile tears.

"Oh" Lia also started tearing up. Two can play this game.

"It's ok if you don't want to have anything to do with me anymore but I just couldn't contain the love that I have for him, so please just let us be"

"Why didn't you tell me about your feelings for him before"

"It was because I didn't know how you would react and I didn't want to lose you, I love you so much, Lia"

"If that's how you feel about jack then I won't be a burden to you two anymore, I will break up with him I promise you" Lia assured Mabel.

"Thank you, sis you are the best"How naive, so easily deceived. I'll take everything away from you one by one. I'll pay you and you're pathetic father for humiliating me and looking down on me all these years. Mabel thought to herself.

Not long after Mabel left Lia started packing up her things to leave, she was done with her shift for that day. 

" Lia" it was Mary again.

"What's wrong?"

"I was wondering if you would be able to join us tonight, we are all going clubbing,"  Mary said 'we' concerning their other colleagues.

"Thank you for inviting me, but I think I'll pass this one"

"Ok, but if you change your mind we are all meeting up at the Night king"

"Ok, thanks again." Lia doesn't do clubs, she has a very low alcohol tolerance. Just one shot could get her on top of a hill.

Lia wasn't also very good at socializing, Mabel had always managed to convince lia that she didn't need anyone else except her and Lia's dad. While doing that Mabel would go behind Lia's back and spread false rumors about her.

People hated Lia without even trying to talk to her.

When Lia got to her apartment she noticed that her door was already unlocked. She grabbed an umbrella for protection just in case.

Everywhere was completely dark, suddenly the living room lights were turned on. She was about to smack that person in the head but stopped in her tracks when she saw who it was.

"What are you doing here and how did you get in"

"Surprise, surprise babe I missed you so much. You know keeping your spare keys under the rug isn't a good place right?"

"What do you want?"

"I want you, love"

"Get out"

"Why, but you just got here babe"

"Leave before I call the cops on you jack"

"Are you mad at me?"

" I don't know, maybe I just don't want to associate myself with someone who sleeps around and got them pregnant"

"Shit" the color drained out of Jack's face.

That bitch, she couldn't just keep her mouth shut now, could she?. Mabel wasn't supposed to tell Lia anything about her and jack.
