I have done this more than once before. This was actually my fourth time auditioning. Ryan Seacrest probably has my phone number on speed dial because he has seen me so many times! I had auditioned every year since I was 16. Now I'm 19, but I feel a veteran to the American Idol experience. I had not made it into the Top 24 yet. I was hoping this was my year.
"Do you want to show off?" Jennifer asked me.
"Sure," I replied smiling, despite being a little nervous deep down in my stomach. I sang Love Runs Out by One Republic.
The judges said I have gotten better. This was good news to me, and I hope that meant that I have a better shot this year. I had another golden ticket in my hand. I was ready to take on the competition. This year was my year.
