A small and fragile girl walked in the depths of a dark, rainy forest. She did not know where she was going, nor did she know what she was going to do now that she had escaped to freedom.
"Ally! Come look at what I found!" One of Allysa's dear friends, Lora said.
"A hole?"
"Yeah! I dug it up so when its the right time to leave, we can both esca-!" Some children started turning heads. Allysa clamped her hand over her mouth.
"Shhh!" she hushed. "If you announce our plan to the world, we will get caught and punished for sure!"
"Right, right!" she softly giggled. She then proceeded to look up at the cloudy blue sky. "Ally..." she softly said. "Yes, Lora?" Ally replied. "Do you actually think we could make it out of here?" she asked. "I do not know. Maybe, maybe not. But..." Lora then looked at Ally with sadness yet hope. "...If I do escape then I will make sure you come with me." Lora's face lit up slightly. "Really? Do you promise?" she asked. "Yeah. I promise." Ally said sincerely.
'I wonder what happened to her... She disappeared after the day we made that promise.' Allysa thought. 'Hopefully, we will meet again in the future.'
'Lies. We will never meet again. There is no way especially where we come from.'
Rain poured down on her head as she started sniffling and crying. She was so happy yet so depressed. 'Stop! Where ever Lora is, I bet she would not want me crying!' Allysa wiped the tears from her already drenched face.
'I will find you, Lora.'
