[Ch6] Yams Has Problems Too

Tsukishima walked out the house seeing Yamaguchi and Sugawara there. "Guys, Daichi is asking you to come back inside." He said playing with his fingers. His mask was slowly crumbling. Sugawara then began to speak. "Actually Tsukishima I wanted to talk with you guys, don't worry Daichi will understand" he stated with a small smile. He sat down and patted the ground for Tsukishima and Yamaguchi to sit. They sat down leaning on eachother back-to-back.

"So I heard about your father and I hope you know you can talk to me if you have a problem." Suga began. "You told him?" Tsukishima asked without moving and in a monotonous voice. "Yeah" Yamaguchi responded in the same manner. "Would you like it if I randomly told people your problems" Tsukki asked still emotionlessly. At this point they have forgotten that they were not alone. "Not really, I just wanted to help" answers Yamaguchi. "You do know you need help too?" Tsukishima asked finally turning to his boyfriend. "But this is about you, you can help me later."

Sugawara just sat there watching as the two 'argued', it doesn't seem like an argument but kind of sounds like one. Suga makes himself known by clearing his throat. "Um, what do you mean by Yamaguchi's needing help aswell?" He asked curiously. The two lovers looked at each other intensely as if they were talking telepathically. "Fine" Yamaguchi stated throwing his hands in the air. Tsukishima just smiled knowing he got Yamaguchi to confess and maybe get help.

"Well, um my parents may or may not be getting a divorce." Yamaguchi let out an awkward chuckle. Tsukishima just let out a sigh knowing that isn't the full truth but happy that he opened up a little. "Oh I'm sorry to hear that, just know you can talk about it with me if you need to. You can come to me anytime, so how about we go inside" Sugawara said standing up and leaving to go inside

Tsukishima then looked at Yamaguchi curiously, "Are you gonna trust him with your 'problems'?" He asked using airqoutes on the word problems "I don't know Tsukki, I want to but he's a bit..." Tsukishima then used his finger to point to his head while turning his wrist in a circular motion. Yamaguchi gasped before playfully punching his boyfriend in the arm. "You can't just call your uppermen crazy, Tsuki!" The blond just chuckled before standing up "Yeah whatever, let's go inside" he said as he stretched his hand out for Yamaguchi to take. They were both standing up now, just staring at eachothers beautiful eyes, admiring one another. A make out session later and they went back inside.

When they entered they saw the team playing monopoly. "I thought this was to build our teamwork, not break it" Yamaguchi whispered while watching people fight over how long Noya has to stay in jail. "Just ignore it, there're idiots" Tsukishima stated, dragging the both of them to their bags and sat there chatting to eachother with some lovey-dovey comments here and there.

Their moment was ruined by a scream. "OH MY GOSH I SWEAR I LITERALLY HAD MORE MONEY RIGHT HERE" Tsukishima turned to the voice and looked back to his boyfriend with a smug look and whispered, "See I told you..crazy" he said making the hand signal. "Stop" Yamaguchi whined elongating the 'o' sound. The blond just laughed before randomly hugging Yamaguchi and nuzzling his face in said boy's neck. The pinch server ran his hand through the blond hair. "Wanna go home?" He asked. Tsukishima nodded, "You're staying over though" Yamaguchi smiled at this.

Not many knew about Yamaguchi's home life, except Tsukki ofcourse. He's parents always fought. Either always about Tadashi's sexuality or his older sister, Yuri's gender.

Tadashi's father supported both his children and cares for them. His mother on the other hand calls them slurs and purposely misgenders Yuri. Their father fighting about how his kids were actually fine and their mother calling them crazy.

Tadashi always spent most his time at his boyfriend's house because he hates seeing his parents fight.

Tsukishima's family was fine with it. They loved having him over.

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi packed the rest of their belongings and left the house without saying goodbye to anyone.
