Percy's POV

Let the battle begin. Those four words rang in my ears as the protective barrier went up around us. The spies are starting to fight my team and my Dad is holding the barrier together while we fight. I hope to make this quick, but nothing is ever easy with End. My dad gave us a big chunk of the battleground to use, so we have plenty of free space. Alright, End, begin we shall.

3rd Person POV

The three powerful opponents circled each other, two on the good side and one on the bad. The barrier was faint, but if you looked hard enough you could see a faint purple dome surrounding the three skilled swordsmen. Chaos was in the back, holding the barrier together with pure concentration. The team, on the other hand, had their own problems. Annabeth, Alex, and Isabella charged as soon as the barrier went up. Zoe and Luke against Annabeth, Selina, and Beckendorf facing Isabella, and Bianca and Nico going off against Alex. Annabeth had a knife and her Drakon Bone Sword from Tartarus, Alex held a broadsword and Isabella also had a sword, just less extravagant than Alex's.

Percy, Astro, and End were still circling by the time Annabeth's knife met Luke's sword. The two weapons clashed and sparks flew. Zoe was holding a bow in the back, trying to get a good shot. Luke and Annabeth were writhing with each other with extreme speed, so Zoe hadn't let an arrow fly for at least five minutes. Selina was using her charmspeak against Isabella, who had a surprisingly strong resistance to it. Beckendorf was fighting her with a flaming hammer and Isabella blew off most of his attacks. Nico was controlling the shadows against Alex and Bianca was also using her long-range weapon to her advantage. Sure, Alex had a big sword, but Bianca was fast with a bow. She was letting the sound of her bowstring ring out every second with an arrow against pinned down Alex. He managed to block most of her arrows, but some hit their mark. He had an arrow in his thigh, shoulder, and ankle.

Meanwhile, inside the barrier, Percy, Astro and End were locked in combat. Percy was fighting End's sword with Shadow and every now and again, Astro would come in with his sword on one of his father's weak spots. As his former son, he knew every chink in his former father's armor. When Percy and End's swords were locked in an X shape, Astro would blast End away with some power. Percy would use that time and hit End with the power of his own while Astro stepped into combat for a while. Chaos didn't dare distract them with a mind message, besides, he was holding the barrier together and trying not to destroy Camp Half-Blood.

Will was still in the infirmary with Thalia, who grudgingly, decided to take into account her personal health for once. There were also some minor injuries that Will had to help with, so he was also stuck there for that reason too. Besides, personal combat wasn't his thing. Sure, he could shoot a bow, but he liked healing better.

Zoe would look into the barrier every now and again to see Percy in a fateful stand-off with his uncle. She was so scared inside that Percy wouldn't come out of this alive, but she had faith in him too, and that faith trampled most of her worries. Luke was also worried about his brother in everything but blood. Luke saw Percy battling with End every now and again out of the corner of his eye when he could battle Annabeth without concentrating fully.

The spies were having a hard time against their opponents. Alex was tired and was almost disarmed multiple times by Nico and was a pincushion for Bianca's arrows. Isabella didn't know what side she was on anymore and didn't want to die for the wrong side. Annabeth's knife was across the battlefield by one of Zoe's arrows, but she was still fighting her former best friend with her Drakon Bone Sword from Tartarus.

In the barrier, all of the men were very tired. End was very close to his fade, but he still had a substantial amount of power left to fight his nephew and former son. Percy was secretly storing some of his energy for the Shadow Seal, which would lock End back up. Astro was worried for his cousin for what was to come. He knew that the Seal could easily kill someone if they weren't trained properly. His body was also tired too. Fighting End for about an hour was taxing and his energy was depleting.
