Violet and Kai have loved each other ever since they met and she knew that he was someone she could trust when he was honest about who he was and how much he loved her. She knew that he was someone who lacked familial love and just needed someone to be on his side for once.
Kai reveals his true nature when his family began treating him poorly which innately led him on his psychotic trajectory to murder his entire family. An ultimatum was used to get Kai to give up his power - he is forced to choose between the love of his life or choose to become leader, in turn letting Violet die.
Violet is left bleeding and heartbroken when she realises what Kai has chosen, as her vision fades she only remembers how much she loved him...
Kai is lucky enough to come back to the real world after being trapped in the prison world for years and sees that Violet is alive and happy with someone else.
Will Kai move on, hurt his family as revenge or will he let this guy be with the love of his life?
