Just For You [ Isabela x Reader ]

Making her way through the town,Isabela tries to avoid anyone from seeing her. It's almost evening,with the sun setting below the horizon. She snuck out half an hour before dinner,she just hopes Dolores doesn't tell anyone,she wanted to spend time with her lover,even for just a little bit.

Yes. Lover.

Today was a stressful day for her,and she hasn't seen her lover in almost 3 days. 3 days! Isabela HAS to see them. She misses them too much!

The way they smile at her,the way they laugh,everything about them! She misses everything about them!

After a few more minutes of walking,she started getting a little tired. Where could they be? Usually they'd be at their special place by now,under a tree found in the forest. The place where (Name) and Isabela met.

Isabela quickly sat down and leaned on the tree. A few flowers blooming beside her. Maybe they're busy? Well,if that were the case,(Name) would've told her beforehand. Isabela couldn't help but sigh,she really wanted to see (Name)...

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting,Mi Vida."

Isabela quickly turned her head to the direction of the voice.

"What took you so long,(N/n)?"

Isabela couldn't help but pout,she thought they were busy with something!

"My apologies,the reason for my late arrival,are these."

(Name) pulled out a basket from behind their back. They sat down beside Isabela,and placed down the basket beside them. (Name) pulled out freshly made arepas,and handed one to their lover.

"Wow,these smell just like my mamá's! They almost taste like them too!"

A smile painted both their faces. Times like these don't always happen,they weren't rare,but they weren't common either. But they both still cherish these moments.

"Do you really think so? I made them just for you,Mi Vida."

(Name) confessed while they wiped some crumbs off Isabela's face. Their lover was the most beautiful person they have ever seen. She was also the best girlfriend (Name) could ever ask for.

"You made them?! How?! They're so good,(N/n)!"

Isabela asked after she finished eating. Her face was obviously red,her lover made these delicious arepas for her! Just for her! How can she not be flustered!?

"Your mamá tought my mom how to make them,and she's been teaching me how to make them too. Do you like them?"

(Name) half lied. Well,they ASKED their mamá to teach them so that they could impress their lover. And hopefully,they did.

"Yeah! They're really good,how long have you been practicing on making them?"

Isabela remembered that (Name) told her that they don't know how to cook. So she was very curious on how long it took for her lover to make these.

"I've been practicing since 3 days ago. I kept messing up,but I got the hang of it now,I'm glad that you liked them,Mi Vida."

3 days ago? That means (Name) has been practicing since their last meeting! How cute! But it's getting late. It's almost time for dinner! She wishes she could spend more time with (Name). But until she tells the others,she knows she'll have a hard time seeing her lover. But at least,both of them are content with what they currently have. 

"(N/n),sorry,but I have to go now! Abuela and the others might wonder about where I am."

Isabela said,standing up and patting her dress. (Name) smiles and nods at her. Of course they understand. They'll wait for Isabela for as long as they can.

"I understand,Isa. Please don't stress yourself and be careful."

(Name) couldn't help but worry. Their lover is always working hard.

"Mhm! Anything for you,(N/n)! I love you! Bye!"

Isabela runs off,back to the Casita. She turns around while waving before disappearing back into the town.

"I love you too,Mi Vida! Take care!"

(Name) couldn't help but feel lucky. Isabela really is the best.
