part 23.

techno, ranboo, wilbur and allura all walked into the smp with armour and weapons. sapnap and the others would meet them down by the river an hour before sunset. sapnap told dream the fight was happening there, as it was alluras request.

as they made it to the river, allura put her hands in the water, splashing some on her face. they had 20 minutes before everyone would be there.

"ranboo, can i talk to you alone?" she looked at him and he nodded. the two walked away from the others.

"what's up?"

she opened her bag and held out the 5 letters to his chest. "can you give these to them once it happens?" she asked.

he looked down at the letters and read all the names. "of course i can." he mumbled.

she frowned. "take care of them, okay? take care of tubbo and tommy. and take care of yourself. we've had our past, and i'm sorry for everything. if i didn't do those things in the past, i'm sure you and i would have been great friends."

he smiled faintly, placing the letters in his pocket. "i'm guessing this is gonna be the last time we talk privately. so, goodbye allura."

"goodbye ranboo." she hugged him.

the two went back to the others, and people slowly started arriving. tubbo, tommy, and dream all arrived first, giving them looks. more and more people arrived, and soon everyone was there.

each group was on different sides of the river, talking.

allura and techno were talking alone. it looked civil, until there was yelling heard.

"are you kidding me?" techno yelled, causing everyone to look in their direction.

"what?" allura stared at him.

he only glared, then started walking over to dreams side. "room for one more?"

"anyone is welcome." dream smiled under his mask. "we've been waiting too long, let's just fight." he called out.

she rolled her eyes, grabbing her bow and an arrow. she aimed at dream, then shot, hitting his shield. everyone started running at each other, and dream started running to her, but techno stopped him. "i've got her."

dream only nodded, then went to someone else.

techno and allura stared at each other from across the field, and she gave him a slight nod. the two ran towards each other, shield in one hand, and an axe in the other. they started swinging at each other.

across the field, tubbo was up against ranboo.

tubbo swung his sword at his shield. "you betrayed me, ranboo! you betrayed michael!" he cried.

ranboo pushed him to the ground. "i was doing it to protect you!" he yelled, making tubbos face drop. "you're fighting with dream. you're fighting against your own sister."

"she doesn't care about me!"

"she loves you! you're too blind by war to see it. everything she did was for you!" ranboo yelled. tubbo had nothing else to say. he got to his feet and aimed his sword at ranboo.

a few meters away was wilbur and tommy.

"hello, little brother." wilbur smirked.

"i am not your brother." tommy glared, their swords clinking.

"but you sure wish you were." wilbur dodged tommy's attempt to stab him in the side.

"i wish you were dead again." tommy spat out.
