Ashqon mein hai yaadein teri
Bheegi bheegi raate meri
Ghum hai kahi rahein meri

Ek baat ko ganth bandh leejiye kaka ki na meri zindagi mein bondita ke alwa koi thi na kabhi hogi , he said screaming once again. How could he cheat on her. He had promised he would never have anyone but her in his life.

"Anirudh tu bacho ki tarah vyahvar mat kar tu ab ek bachi ka baap hai" kaka said sternly. He too knew how much bondita mattered to him, but... what could he do he loved his nephew he couldn't let him spend rest of his life without a wife and beyond that his little daughter needed a mother.

"Haa to ek baat ap bhi samajh leejiye ki mein nahi chahta ki aap meri zindagi ki chinta na kare mein jaisa bhi hu khush hu or mujhe KISIKI ZAROORAT NAHI, mein or meri beti khush hai jaise bhi hai" he screamed louder this time tears flowing down his red eyes. He looked ...dangerous with disheveled hair falling on his forehead and eyes bloody red.

Main woh chand jiska
Tere bin na koi aasmaan
Main woh chand jiska
Tere bin na koi aasmaan

Tu khush nahi hai kitna jhoot bolega ab hamse, bondita babu ke jane ke baad tu kabhi khush nahi tha or hum nahi chahte tu apni aage ke zindagi dukh mein guzare, he said as his own eyes welled up seeing him cry.

Aap kabhi mujhe nahi samjh payenge MERI BONDITA KE BINA KOI NAHI SAMAJH SAKTA MUJHE, he said as his own head pained due to shouting. He coughed uncontrollably and ran out of the haveli.

Meri duaon mein hai mannat teri
Tujhko padha hai tu hai aayat meri
Jannat tu hi hai tu hona na door
Azmat hai tujhse tu hi hai mera noor

He ran to the very place he would go when he missed her, an isolated lake; not much people really knew about it.His words broke up and all he could say were stuttering sounds. Hot tears streamed down his face, and he squeezed his eyelids shut in the hope his tears would stop. His choppy breathing and watery eyes remained for quite some time, and he sat there unmoving.

He was once bright, bubbly, and ambitious, even, had dreams, and wants. His smile would brighten up the room.

Dil ki salakhein qaid rakhe hai
Jaise parinda koi, haan koi..

Yet, one day, he stopped. Smiles ceased to happen, or if they did, they looked so dead. There wasn't any shine in his eyes when he smiled. It was like a plastic doll, eyes in a daze, distant. It was as if he was always somewhere else. His head, perhaps? Or maybe a whole different world.

Ashqon mein hai yaadein teri
Bheegi bheegi raate meri
Ghum hai kahi raahein meri

he didn't talk much anymore, either. he gradually became more reserved, distancing himself from others, fumbling for his words. It was as if he was afraid to utter a word. As if doing so would lead to punishment. he always seemed unsure of himself, insecure. His body radiated the exact opposite of confidence in its aura.

he preferred to be alone, isolating himself in his room. he didn't talk to his friends much anymore. he didn't dream her dreams anymore. he didn't want anything anymore. he didn't participate in her old hobbies anymore.

Nothing mattered, because he felt hopeless.

Main woh chaand jiska
Tere bin na koi aasmaan
Main woh chaand jiska
Tere bin na koi aasmaan

And the shine in her eyes never returned, the smiles never alive. The little happiness he  ever felt now was his daughter, his only reason to live.
