"The legend of the faceless man stealing children dates back centuries, but Slenderman made his first appearance about ten years ago," Jo explained, showing Dean a picture of the man. "Someone posted it and it went viral, tons of people photoshop this guy into photos and he's made appearances in tons of media," she continued. "But I never thought that there was any truth to the story until the incident happened," Dean asked what she meant and Jo explained that one day at the beach a boy went missing. He was a young kid just enjoying a picnic with his family but then he was taken by Slenderman and the now transformed boy burned his parents to death. "It was horrible and soon after it started happening to other kids,"

"But I get that it goes after the youngest kids," Dean said. "But you said those with hunting in their blood? If that's the case why didn't it take me?"

"I don't know," Jo answered. "Maybe you weren't vulnerable enough or maybe he couldn't influence you," She hadn't heard of anyone being immune to Slenderman's influence but anything was possible. "Wait, did he ever try to stalk you?"

"Not that I can remember, no," Dean said. "Unless he did it when I was only four, but even then I wouldn't know," Jo thought for a minute and wondered what else she could say. She didn't want to give him false hope but maybe there was one thing that could confirm her suspicions.

"Dean, before your sister vanished, did she act weird at all?" Jo asked. "Like wanting to go into the woods or saying they were beautiful?" she continued. "The ones Slenderman favor often experience hallucinations before he takes them,"

"The only times she's ever acted weird was the night we experienced that storm," Dean explained. "She always said even before that, a tall man wanted her to go and play with him," he continued. "I thought she was talking about an imaginary friend or something, but what does this have anything to do with me or my sister?"

"If you never experienced those hallucinations like your sister then something was blocking Slenderman from influencing you," Jo explained. "Wait, are your parent's hunters?" she asked. Dean laughed thinking that Jo was joking, his parents? Hunters? They never liked that type of thing and believed that it was all myth and legend.

"My parents? Hell no, I had to train myself," Dean explained. "My parents think that what I'm doing is ridiculous and that I'm overdoing it with all this hunting, they don't believe in that,"

"I have a theory but you might not like it," Jo responded. There was only one possible explanation for how Samantha could have been drawn to Slenderman while her brother was not. John and Mary must not be her biological parents, but she didn't even know if Dean knew that. "Do you know if your parents kept anything from you? Like maybe an adoption," Dean looked at Jo in confusion, he didn't believe that his sister was adopted.

"You're lying," Dean said, thinking that Jo wasn't telling the truth. "My parents would never keep something like that from me,"

"That's the only explanation Dean, I know you don't like what I'm saying but I would suggest you look into it," Jo responded. "If you are immune you may be able to kill Slenderman after all," Dean needed to talk to his parents, if what Jo was saying is true then maybe there was hope to save his sister. He thanked Jo for her help and quickly left to go and talk to his parents, meanwhile back at the castle Slendy seemed slightly on edge since Samantha came back. Sure she had claimed that she killed her brother but why did something feel off.

"Where are my pages?" Slenderman asked. "Proxy come here," he gestured to Samantha and she came up to him.

"Yes sir?" Sam said nervously. "Something the matter?"

"I am missing one of my pages, where is it?" He asked. His raspy voice dropped meaning he was getting angry and all of the other proxies ran to hide. If Slenderman got angry enough his tentacles would appear and the whole area around him became pixelated like a broken tv.

"They're scattered throughout the forest," Sam said. "One of them is at that burnt house," Slenderman got pissed and even without a mouth, he screamed like a wounded animal. Samantha covered her ears and eyes as the world became pixelated and a few tentacles grew out of Slenderman's back.

"Fool your brother took it, get it back!" He screamed.

"Sir, I can't!" Sam exclaimed. "I went back to check if his body still had it but it was gone when I got there! I don't know where it is!" Since Slenderman didn't take failure well he picked the thirteen-year-old girl up with one of his tentacles. She gasped for air as his grip tightened.

"You will find it or you will end up being fed to my werewolf," he threatened and dropped the girl. Sam coughed but nodded, not willing to test her master any longer, she got up from the floor and left the castle once again. However, one of the proxies stepped forward even if it meant he would get hurt.

"Sir," Said Elijah. "Might I make a small suggestion?"

"What?" Slenderman grumbled. He was already aggressive enough since one of his pages had been taken.

"Well... I know how much that Winchester boy got on your nerves," Elijah started. "And while he's found one of your pages, he did train himself to be a hunter... Why don't you try and influence him?" Slenderman thought for a minute taking the suggestion into consideration. Because he had no face Elijah couldn't see the smirk that appeared on his nonface.

"That is so clever I am so glad I thought of this," Slenderman responded. "Group the rest of the proxies together and tell them to guard the remaining pages with their lives, I have a hunter to find,"
