Jungkook stalked the streets, dressed all in black. His hair was pushed back off his forehead, and a mask covered the lower half of his features. He was a predator of this urban jungle, silently stalking, seeking, hunting his prey. And they could feel him out there. Furtive glances over shoulders, whispered conversations, eyes anxiously flicking up to the glow of fires on the horizon. They could feel him in the shadows. Tracking. Pursuing. Hunting them down. One by one. The Hoodlums were nervous, on the edge of panic; for the last three days, they had been disappearing in ones and twos. Some of them found a day later in the river. Others who weren't as lucky were found missing ears. Hands. Toes. Tongues, even.

Hyunjin shuddered as he hunched his shoulders against the chill January air. One more night. One more night, and that stupid girl would be out of their hair. Not their problem. She'd be the whore to some Black Rose gangster, and good-fucking-riddance. He trudged his way back to the abandoned apartment complex where they were holding the Bangtan slut, relieved tonight was the last night he'd have to watch her. She refused to eat, now. Swore those idiot Boys were coming for her. He stifled a chuckle and glanced over his shoulder. Dumb bitch. They'll never find her before her Uncle marries her off. He pushed his hair back off his face and tied it up into a messy ponytail so it wouldn't block his peripheral vision. He could feel the Boys out there. The thick, choking smoke on the wind was a constant reminder that he and his fellow Hoodlums were being hunted down,

"Oi!" Hyunjin turned the corner and banged his shoulder against a hunched figure stalking quickly in the opposite direction

"Oi!" Hyunjin turned the corner and banged his shoulder against a hunched figure stalking quickly in the opposite direction. "Watch where you're going, asshole," he muttered. He heard the light, barely-audible footsteps of the figure behind him slow, then halt completely. He swallowed nervously as he turned around.

"Sorry?" The man was wearing a mask, but Hyunjin could tell by the way the corners of his eyes crinkled that he smiled as he tipped his head to the side. He pulled his mask down. "Didn't hear you, there."
